Everything was amazing. If I really need to pick something to do better I would say it would be nice to have a bench or something outside to sit a bit more comfortable… but maybe this only matters to people like us who stare at the sky for hours 😅 and maybe a fan, but it is already amazing as it is 😊

This place is just beautiful, peaceful and calm. The view is breathtaking, not to mention the insane night sky where you can see the milky way so clear. The family who runs this place is lovely, friendly and they make sure that you have everything you need. We will definitely come back in autumn/winter.

We had a perfect stay at La Belle Étoile, which provided tranquility in nature for my family. The friendly staff and peaceful location created an ideal environment to recharge and escape the stress and noise pollution of urban life. The stunning view of the water dam and the breathtaking starry sky at night enhanced our experience. We also enjoyed homemade meals prepared by the lady of the house, which added an authentic touch. Additionally, we had the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, spending time along the lake coast, visiting Ouazzane during Eid, and discovering the lush greenery of the nearby hills. I highly recommend it!

Finding the access road was tricky and we wasted an hour going back and forth. Don’t follow google maps And it’s not the road that’s right next to the petrol station either. It’s a little way before you reach the petrol station when approaching from the south. If you’re looking up at a smooth but steep concreted road, that’s the one you want. If it’s muddy, rocky or unpacked at all then it’s wrong and don’t attempt. The owners should have a sign at the bottom of the access road!!!! Food was okay although for dinner we ordered a vegetarian tagine and we were surprised to find meat when we opened the lid. We’re not ones to fuss and just fed it to the stray dog who was more than happy.

The view over the lake directly from the room was beautiful, I could see the sun rise over the lake while still sitting in my bed. The owners were very helpful and I enjoyed the local breakfast and fresh bread.

The road to access the gite can be a bit tricky. Don't follow Google maps and take the shortcut even though it's a countryside road.

La Belle étoile is an amazing stay for couples and families who want peace of nature. The view on the water dam is beautiful. At night, we got an amazing starred sky. The food is homemade by the lady of the house nearby. Quite authentic experience! Recommend it.

This is an amazing place to relax and meditate. I was traveling around Morocco by bike and staying in this quiet place gave me the best rest and impressions. The hosts were very hospitable, fed me and provided me with drinking water. The view of the lake is beautiful!

It can be hard to find this place, but after you reached la etoile, the view over the lake and the valley is just amazing. If you are looking for a calm and relaxed place in nature, this is the place to go. A good dinner and breakfast on the terrace as well super convenient. And as you are in the Moroccan countryside the shower is amazing, hot water with perfect pressure.

All was very good, regarding directions, turn left once you reach “BIG” gas station (its name is big), and follow the road untill the property. Google suggests a different road that can be a bit challenging.

It's really basic, so if you're normally used to finer establishments, this could be a little challenging.

The food was good, the view was amazing especially in the night and the owner was very hospital and kind. It's a great place if you want to fully unplug.
