As Riga hosted bascetball championships the whole town was booked and prices were high. Bar at the lobby was closed before 1 AM

the coffee queues were long. not enough fresh fruit. apples were not very nice. the pillars were in the way. the toaster was slow. i would have liked some nuts and seeds. the coffee was not very tasty. we had to ask to be moved into a larger room as we were a two then we became a three sharing. the two remaining were asked to move into the one. there was a drip on the window of 613 which was torture for about two hours. a couple of the staff had no knowledge of where cafe were locally. we had to ask for the room change and towels to be changed.

breakfast was great, lots of different foods, the tables and cutlery was clean. the yoghurt and fruit brilliant. the brown bread was amazing. the soft boiled eggs were great. a good selection of cooked breakfast and buffet style. the guy that checked us in on the first night, tuesday, was happy, helpful and very welcoming. we give him 5 stars. the woman who sorted out our change of room and rechecking in on sunday was also brilliant.

The room was not prepaired for the third guest - our child. He did not have a cup and a spoon. Also there was no bedding for him. I had to go to the reception to get one. After first night we noticed that blanket and bed sheet were way to small for 4 years child, so next morning I asked for bigger. We did not receive it for the whole day. In the evening I went to the reception again and said that we didn't receive bigger blanket and bed sheet for my child, but the receptionist said that the house maid left it in our room. When I said that she had not, the receptionist brought these things. After the second night house maid took away child's pillow.... I did not want to talk about this new issue since we had only one night left, so I gave my child my own pillow and that was how we spent our last night. The cleanliness was not good. There was many dust under the shelves, there was many water on the ground in the bathroom after taking a shower. Also a coffee machine was leaking water too. Overall not good oppinion about this staying.

The free toiletries in bathroom were not good, only one dispenser in shower. I would recommend to bring own soap,shampoo/conditioner.

We had twin rooms+extra beds. Under the bed was very tusty. Also some sheets were with tirty marks. U dont expect that from Tallink hotel. At the bar bartender was away so long. Probably he was helping cars to park but maybe some other people should do it then

Bed was a little uncomfortable and worn out, soggy. The curtains could have been blinding as it gets really bright in summer around 4am.

Location was good, underground parking safe and easy to use with staff help. Everything was clean and tidy.
