There was some big private fest going on during our stay. More suited for parties than relaxation. A lot of people make noises at night and sound isolation is non-existent.

Very stuffy, uncomfortable bed, synthetic linens. Guests are noisy on the territory, it's tough to sleep.

It's a good place for its money, like a roadside motel from the movies. Clean and updated bath room. Beautiful well-maintained parkland.

Price is on the verge of acceptance. In case of price increase, perhaps there will be need to search for alternative locations.

Best place for short term family vacation. Better to buy meat for great grill experience. There is everything for guests to prepare food themselves, including grill on open fire.

There was a smell from the drains in the bathroom. Also, our room was the closest to stairs, so everyone was passing it and we had to keep curtains closed for privacy.

We only stayed there as a stopover so didn't have time to fully explore the grounds. Seemed like a popular holiday place for families. Our room was clean with spacious shower. Small shared kitchen available on another floor. There was a cafe downstairs. It had a ridiculous waiting time, BUT the potato pancakes with salmon were probably the best I have ever had! Definitely worth the wait. Salmon seemed to be salted on site, pancakes made fresh, portion size very generous and pancake to salmon ratio was impressive (lots of salmon). It was the highlight of the stay and I will remember those pancakes for a while.

The room was a little outdated. The pillows were more like cushions and very flimsy, we didn’t have the best sleep.

Hygienic is a topic here. Rooms were clean, shower and toilet completely clean, bed covers also fresh and clean but there is one minus, too many spiders, I know it's a forest location, it's the season, you call it, but for sure there can be more to be done in therms of cleaning, outside corridor is full of spider nets and autumn leaves in a level that it looks like if the place has been abandoned for a month. Inside room there were only two spiders, I know local people see spiders as something good, but well here was too much. More broom action is needed. Staff doesn't speak English, which if you speak the local language is not a problem, but for those who don't speak Latvian or Russian well is a trouble and this place is advertised on this international platform.

I didn't stay for breakfast so unfortunately can't rate it but the previous evening I saw how they were serving some pork dishes and it was looking amazing, I will surely go back to try their cafe. I can add that I went there to buy some beer and vodka, they have a wide variety and very fair prices. I went there with grilling intentions, rented a room and so you can go outside and use any of their 8 bungalows for grilling, each one of them has their own griller, electricity, bench, table, 6 to 10 people can easily fit. View to the lake. The place offers playground for kids, view to the lake, sauna (I guess for extra cost) They told me that they sell charcoal as well, if you need for grilling. I love grilling and will definitely come back there to enjoy grilling with view to the lake. People at reception despite not speaking English were very friendly and helpful. One reason why I chose this property over another ones is because this one is not advertised as pet friendly, and believe me, there are many of us who dislike dogs or sleeping in a bed where a dog slept before. I enjoy being in the outdoors without having someone a few meters next to me with a loud barking spoiled dog. So please keep this property as peaceful as it is and without dogs, it is perfect like this. In fact, there were two friendly cats there, this is a nicer deal ))

Friendly staff, clean room, good sound isolation. The bubble bath in suite was excellent. I recommend a boat ride if the weather is good as the lake is just beautiful. The territory was tidy and pretty. The price was fair.

Kids playground could be improved little be more!

Breakfast was very yummy and quick - especially potato pancakes (драники)! We had lovely time and highly recommend this place! Staff was very friendly and we felt a personal touch: we could ask to keep our cake and ice cream in the fridge overnight, we're given recommendations about fishing and activities!

At summer there are almost impossible to sleep, is way too hot. Most staff member did not speak english.

The entire facility and the rooms we rented much, much more met our expectations. Yes, we spent one night in them because we needed a stop on the route. The facility is very friendly, nice, well-maintained, charming bypass around the lake, nice marina and bathing area. Rooms very clean and fragrant. I believe that the owner is going in the right direction because he invested a lot of money, which of course you can see. I recommend this property for short and long stays. Regards.

1. Recetionist woke up from his smoke only to try soeaking russian to us. No english, deutch, estonian, swedish... Just russian or maybe Lithianian, but couldn't be sure. So he handed the key showed the room and nothing else. So I couldn'tbe sure or example what is the parking policy. So I parked up front. 2. No air ventilation in the room. Only in bathroom, and that was not working There was a chance to keep windows open, but wasted locals kept so much noise that rather not. Woke up with a headache in a room of thick air. 3. I had to evict spiders from room and bathroom 4. That 12" tv did show only 5 grainy local channels, with nothing really on them. 5. I had to lock us in with a key, to keep door closed from outside. Not a dafe thing in case of an emergency. 6. The emergency plan was from 2014 and in english only guido go go out as quickly as possible. 7. Some ducktape fixes were not exactly convingsing attempts to maintain quality.

Insanely cold in the winter time, rooms were ice cold, floors cold, cold to sleep. Icy pathways, easy to slip and fall. The staff did not speak english. My room had no hooks for towels or shower items.

We stayed in the hotel in December, and it was so cold, we were sleeping fully dressed and in warm socks.

The location is cool. The hotel is right near the beach, surrounded by the beautiful forrest.
