The room got a bit chilly by my morning but I think I just managed to catch the first very cold nights of the late summer because the next night the heating switched on. I was there already after peak season, but even at this time there were lots of families with kids, generating the typical noise that comes with that. If you want to avoid this kind of buzz, this place might not be ideal.

I expected some really basic soviet type mass hostel or student dorm which in some ways it was but much much better then I imagined. The building is in great shape, the shared facilities such as toilets, showers, and the kitchen are spotless clean and being maintained around the clock. The ladies working there were sweet. The building is located very close to the beach, a few mins walk only, but far enough that it is protected from the strong winds occasionally blowing along the shores.

The matrass was really old and creaky.

The location was perfect, few minutes walk to the best Jurmala beach a beautiful park. Very clean showers and toilets, fresh sheets. Nice and helpful staff. Everything you need for a 1-2 nights stand.

This time we had terrible neighbours - ruzzian speaking moms with little kids who were running and screaming in the lobby and rooms as they left open doors from morning till evening.

It’s our third stay here. We like it’s location, calm atmosphere and value for money

Hard to get sleep because some of the guests do not respect nighttime silence after 22:00 ( there is no staff at nights).

You can hear every noise coming from outside your room. I recommend to bring some earplugs. But afterall, the price for this place was affordable and I had everything for a short trip. Also the wifi is bad.

Expect to share or even queue toilets during busy times. Corridor floors are a bit squeaky and can be annoying when people walking at night. Kitchen had a strong smell of puke for the duration of our stay (2 days)

Fantastic location. Toilers and showers exceeded my expectations, modern, secluded and comfy. Room was as expected, small and simple.

Slow wifi, bathrooms and showers are mixed genders, but these are just minor issues.

Very clean place with the beach just across the road, friendly staff, kitchen, and free parking on the road just outside the property.

The guests can be quite sloppy - you could see it in the bathroom. No complaints to the staff.

The hostel has a great location, just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. You can get to the busiest part of Jurmala in no time by scooter. The train station is less than 15 minutes on foot. You get what you paid for: ok kitchen, comfortable bed.

Personnel seemed somewhat unmotivated. Had to wait for my room some time. Rooms are okay, abut not more than that. Wifi was not very strong. Walls don't seem to be very strong, at least you hear a lot of what is going on in the common area, could be somewhat disturbing in the morning.

Location is rather good, only about 200 meters from the beach. On the flip-side, there aren't any bars or restaurants close by (next about 1 KM).

The water in the shower is only cold, and they don't give any towels! Cold during the night.

Nice localization at pine forest, this is a hostel where 3 students are living. Rooms are clean, Wi-FI works, and there's the kitchen and opportunity to cook.
