The house could benefit from some maintenance and updates- a few improvements would definitely make it nicer. We would have appreciated to have a wardrobe or shelves for the clothes in the bedrooms.

Diksalas surroundings are lovely, peaceful, and nicely looked after. The kids enjoyed the playground and the games courts – a big plus for the families! The fishpond by the deck was a real highlight, especially for my husband and boys. The house was welcoming with sauna already lit.

We missed instructions on how to turn on sauna (maybe we are not the sharpest pencils), but we called administrator and she explained nicely and friendly. Another great addition would be if there would be some tea bags and coffee for the breakfast. The dirt road to the place had a lot of bumps (Latvian road quality).

Namiņš was very cozy and warm. Quite spacious and in good condition. Hot tub was prepared and was super nice. Namiņš was located remotely from other namiņi. Sauna warmed up very quickly. Also check in and out was very easy and required little communication.

While other houses are good distance away, some visitors still walked around close to us, looking for better fishing spots. Pond is shallow, not realy good for relaxing swim.

I loved everything

This place is perfect , I can’t wait to visit in summer. And the owner is super nice , I have zero negative things to say about this place , You got everything you need + you can take a hot tub , which you should , because it’s so romantic and and relaxing and you won’t find a place with a hot tub anywhere cheaper. Pure mobile network coverage and wifi capacity, kind of pricy for the particular house size and geographical location.

Nice view, beautiful nature, easy checkin and checkout, sauna is ok, nice outside hot tube.

The terrace floor has settled (sloped) and wobbled a lot when walking on it, everything on the table fell over when you walked past it.

The place itself is great, we were here again. There was everything you needed - a soft, comfortable bed, a clean toilet and shower. This is the smallest and cheapest cabin (5), but the price for it and the scenic surroundings beat other accommodations at a similar price in the nearest city, even if you just need somewhere to spend the night, which is why we chose it this time.

some of the dishes were a bit unclean, but im guessing that was the previous visitors fault, it happens! also maybe the water temperature and pressure in shower could use some fixing up, and there was a bit of a smell that felt like there has been some alchohol use before us perhaps, but that all felt like nothing compared to the general vibe that this house offered!

i was amazed by having your own island and that youre surrounded by water and nature, youre all on your own(which for an introvert as me i really enjoyed the no meeting in person :) and if youre ready to pay a bit more you also have a sauna and a hot tub, it was literally quite the experience to lay under the stars while enjoying hot water, the facilities were all good, bed was really comfy and overall vibe of the house was truly more than what i expected:)

Somehow we struggled with heating and oxygen availability. Don't get it wrong - it was super warm, even too warm, so all good. But the ventilation (or because it is not active?) and heating somehow did not much together for us.

The concept and utilities are great. It is not first time we re staying there. So it is excellent to see a gradual improvement in infrastructure and offerings. A way to do! Thank you.

4k of dirt/gravel road to get there - my motorbike does not do off-road well! Be aware on-site housekeeper only speaks Russian/ Latvian, so all communication (from us who only speak English) was via booking.com to owner

If you plan a buisness trip, then know its a dirt road to get to the place and you must plan a car wash after the stay. Road has pot holes, so be vigilant not to break a tier.
