Strange smell (old people smell) Stairs felt kinda unstable, definitely loud. Wash machine for the clothes was very, very dirty. Something was in it and had to clean the machine and rewash out clothes. Not a real stove, but can be used to cook pasta. The second toilet is emergency only, it so small, that you cannot even close the door. Owner kinda speaks English, it was kinda hard to understand her. A lot of cobwebs. The kitchen had a lot of grime. It was kinda cold, but good for sleeping. The apartment is full of dehumidifiers… The window had a layer of dust.

Large house with one double-size bed and two sofas. One bathroom and one toilet. Pretty close to the city center (25 minutes on foot). 10 minutes on foot from art nouveau district.

The place can be quite dark. Luckily, it was generally sunny when I was there, so it was okay, but in winter I assume it is quite dark..

The owner is lovely and I came to enjoy the uniqueness of the place. I am having to do some work during this trip and there was a desk by a window. An easy walk to Old Town.

There´s could be really cold in some days, if it is, do not hesitate to ask for electronic heater from the lady.

Vintage, spacious appartment in good location with free parking inside the inner block. Carefully look at the pictures, it´s exactly like on visit of your grandma. :) It´s may not be for everyone, but we were ok with it.

There was no heating on, so it was really cold. Bathroom was not cleaned properly, and hair and dirt could be found in different places. The cleanliness of the bed linens/beddings was also quite questionable.

The wi-fi connection was good. The host was friendly. Location was convenient. There were many different electronic appliances available. The water was warm. The check out time was until midnight which was very convenient. The apartment was vintage and looked aesthetically pleasing.

Its a joke, not a two bedroom flat as described. Two storey warehouse or some security place or something originally, where someone put couple beds and old damp furniture. Smells damp a lot , place never cleaned, even owner tried to ask money for parking in back yard, which is free!!! Avoid this place in big way! Message to owner: this place needs proper refurbishment to meet description, please do that, or withdraw from booking platform.

The apartment is comfortable, cozy and quiet, despite location very close to the city center. It is well equipped with everything one might need during a stay, including a washing machine. The hostess is very kind, and the price to quality ratio is outstanding.

The apartment would need throughout cleaning. Also funny smell at the apartment. Some heating would have been nice.

The aparment was easy to reach from the old town with a tram or Bolt. The apartment was situated at he ground floor (2 stages),which was nice.

Unfortunately the owner's English is quite limited. Once she arrived at the apartment, communication was ok, although I found it quite hard to communicate over the telephone, as unfortunately I don't speak any Latvian. The heating and hot water seemed to come on weakly and irregularly (not sure if it was working properly). The air in the appartment seemed as though a previous occupant had smoked in the appartment. This may have been a long time ago but we felt the need to air the place thourghly every time we came in. So together with that and the heating problems it was quite cold and I didn't risk taking a shower due to the hot water situation. The appartment is also quite dark. It was fine for two nights, sleeping with three blankets, but I wouldn't want to stay there for longer. This was mid October.

The owner of the appartment is very friendly and clearly wants you to have a nice stay. The place was very clean, only some dishes and cooking utensils hadn't been washed that thourghly by the previous users. The kitchen has an electric hob with two rings and is well equipped with everything you need. It's a very nice 10 minutes walk from the city centre. :)

- The apartment is extremely dark, you can't function there without turning on the lights even during the day - the smell - absolutely horrible smell dampness/mould, not sure, but it was very powerful and really disturbing. You could get used to it after 10-15 minutes, but every time after coming back to the place it hit with the same strength - dampness and humidity - after 24h the towels were still wet - unbelievable cold - it was extremely cold, to the point were I had to wear a jacket all the time in the apartment. As it was only September, the heating wasn't working yet, so I couldn't do much about it. The funny thing is that it was quite warm outside, T-Shirt weather, but the apartment stayed extremely cold. There is one electric heater downstairs, but we were worried to leave it on when we were leaving the apartment, as it produced weird smell. In bed, even under two douvets, I was shaking with cold. - just a tiny drawbackspoken instructions via a phone call on how to get to the apartment rather than written ones. This is the first time I've experienced something like that and it made things a bit more difficult for us. - there is no shop within 5 minutes walk
