If you want to attent to a Concept or festival, you have to know that the public transport will close their direct bus routes to the hotel at 7 p.m.

The hotel is very Cosy and calm. Situated at the periphere it is very quite. The staff is absolut georgous.

Not an issue for us, as we knew this and still chose to book, but it’s a long walk uphill from the town centre, although a restaurant is available in the hotel.

Beautiful location surrounded by woodland where you can go for walks. There’s a free animal park within walking distance. Some other reviews aren’t very complimentary of the breakfast but I found it delicious, as I could order my favourite (smoked salmon with scrambled eggs) every day, followed by miniature pastries. Parking was available and free.

The pillows were terrible. Thankfully, as a seasoned traveller always pack mine in my case. The towels were rather rough and small. Breakfast is OK, and acceptable if included in room rate.

It is the quietest hotel I have ever stayed at. You cannot hear noise at from other rooms at all. The seclusion is wonderful. Laundry service is excellent and quick. The staff are exceptional and kind.

My wife and I loved the location as it was quiet, however, if you want a location within walking distance to restaurants/bars this isn't the place for you.

The rooms are comfortable, if not a little dated, but nice. Breakfast is basic, the only thing warm available is eggs, but it is enough and served in a pleasant environment. The Staff are very friendly.

The breakfast is very strange experience. Would be great if the staff could explain a bit better when arriving what the idea is; ‘please have a seat and you can order what you like from the menu’ Now I was searching at first what the idea was of the small buffet. Please turn on some relaxed background music during breakfast, now it was so quiet and you could only hear the noise of the typing receptionist on the back ground. Which made it a bit awkard.

The restaurant menu is great but a bit too pricy for us; breakfast could have been more elaborate but was fine. Extras (eggs, salmon, cheese, ...) could be ordered without extra costs.

The location and the view over the woods and the hills is fantastic. The rooms have a special layout, very roomy and different from standard hotel rooms. In the forest on top of the hill (15 minute walk) there is a small basic zoo, very nice for children. The staff helped us out by storing our racing bike safely in the basement.

Fabulous location for a view over the city and adjacent forest. Lots of birds and animal noises... really very secluded. The photos do not do this hotel justice... I'm very particular and it was faultless! The exterior is smaller than it appears in the images, and more rustic, and the room we had was beautifully appointed. We ate at the casual dining area and the tapas were fabulous as was the breakfast!! Great service and an overall wonderful experience!

The only issues we had were the lack of a public restroom anywhere in the facility (accessible from the breakfast area, for example), and the fact that there was no fan or way to vent the air in the bathroom or room itself.

Staff was absolutely amazing! Appointments in the rooms and condition of the room was excellent. Bedding and sleeping accommodations were excellent. Breakfast was excellent!

One thing I would have preferred is a separate bar area instead of table service to the reception area.

The restaurant is incredible. We went to a Michelin star restaurant the night before arriving and the food was on par. I would say that if the table service (which wasn’t bad) was turned up a notch then the restaurant is capable of getting a star. The location is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, well designed, and the staff are extremely helpful and enthusiastic. I would definitely make another trip here.
