How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Rooms were small but that seems to be the current trend. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Breakfast was well-stocked. Grounds were very cozy and green.

The beds were a bit too firm/hard for my taste.
The location was fantastic. 5 minute walk to the airport and Tram. The staff and facilities were good. The restaurant was fantastic. The food was amazing and the service excellent!!

The room was comfortable enough for a short stay. Liked the toiletries. Nice buffet breakfast...extra. Parking on-site...extra. Close to airport and free tram line. Nicely landscaped.

The AC wasn’t working very well—I was expecting it to be cooler, but it was still acceptable.
NH Hotel is definitely a big name, and in my opinion, it has maintained its credibility. I have beautiful memories from my stay in Luxembourg. The distance from the tram stop is quite short, the facilities were good, and the breakfast service was excellent. The staff serving during breakfast were very friendly—especially Mr. Jean-Charles (I hope I remember the name correctly), who was exceptionally welcoming.

If you improve noise insulation and refresh the corridors look and feel it would be perfect!
The staff was really friendly (as in genuine and exceeding my expectations) and capable language wise. The bathroom was really clean and modern, I loved that you didn't have a carpet in the room!

The car park isn’t the biggest but there is a large car park very nearby
They had everything you want from a hotel. The bed was comfortable, there were EU and UK plug sockets, a hairdryer, fridge, nice complimentary water and separate shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and conditioner. The breakfast had a variety of delicious fruit and pastries. Helpful multilingual staff

I had a wonderful stay at NH Luxembourg. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything was well-organized. I especially appreciate their help in solving an issue and returning an item I had accidentally left behind. Their professionalism and kindness made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The lobby is a bit shabby, not too cozy
The property is very well maintained, the staff is super friendly. Want to personally thank Patrick for welcoming us into the hotel. The rooms are very clean and well equiped, the hotel is quiet and a good stay overall.

There is nothing I did not like. I can highly recommend it!
The room was very nice and comfortable, very spacious it had nice lighting, lots of coffee and tea in the room, the bed was really comfortable, the bathroom and shower are really comfortable, the location was excellent - if you need to be close to the airport, but even if you want to explore the city, I can highly recommend it because you can just hop on tram which is like 300m away. The staff was very nice - even in the middle of the night, when I checked in. Just 10/10

It was very clean and the location was perfect, there was a tram station just nearby and a good restaurant nearby as well. Plus, even though the hotel is so close to the airport, the rooms are quiet and you can’t hear any airplanes whatsoever. I’d definitely recommend the breakfast buffet, it had everything, even a menu where you could ask for special dishes.

I stay at this hotel regularly, so my review is not just from one visit. The staff is always very helpful and accommodating. They have a real sense of service, which is sadly no longer a given in hotel these days. The hotel location is very convenient if you get there by plane. The food at the restaurant is also good.
