How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The was no soap, also there was a gap in the door. Although we slept very well.
Reminded me of the town of my childhood. Of course, the place needs some renovation, but we enjoyed our night in Visaginas. The breakfast was very tasty: we were the first to come, so we had a good choice. Our room was very large.

we could not get in after arrival - gate was locked. We had to call, and then someone came to unlock building and let us in.

The room we got was in need of upgrade. The Window blind was broken, the shower drain was partially blocked and it needed some more attention.
The hotel is well located in Visaginas. The ladies running the place were very friendly and kind. Breakfast was very nice.

There was no sound isolation. So you can hear alarms of others phones in 6 am. Breakfast was not very good, so I wouldn,t order that again.

The sign outdoors says no smoking inside however once you enter the hotel - the place reeks of alcohol and smoke. The room is outdated. A lot of chips in the furniture/floor. The bed is not comfortable at all. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything that is happening in the hall. The cups/plates provided for tea/coffee were dirty. In the shower the temperature of the water kept changing on its own. Our friends went for breakfast in the morning and both of them got diarrhea after. Not recommend.

Room felt humid/damp, thus felt cold. Synthetic, usually quick-drying, hiking clothes were still damp in the morning. Not sure which jet plane does bathroom's air vent want to be. Breakfast, well, was there, but was kinda poor with limited selection, dried cucumbers (probably leftovers from the prior day). There was no staff to replenish whatever was consumed from already limited selection.

Firstly reception was surprised that there are 2 rooms for 5 guests booked, they thought it was 1 for 2 guests. Then they found in separate blocks. In one room was no hot water at all, in another room pipes were not functioning well. Bed sheets were not really clean, asked to change. Room was full of spiders. Breakfast was with cheapest products.
Nice location, very calm. Good for A walk. Comfortable parking.

Outside of the hotel room, water dripped from the roof onto the tin and disturbed sleep throughout the night. In addition, the refrigerator made loud noise and also disturbed sleep. What is more, there were no extra-large double bed as indicated in the advertisement and there was only one small blanket.

The staff does not speak any other language than Russian and Lithuanian. It was impossible to eat breakfast in peace because the lady from the reception was attacking for payment for the room. No European standards. Expensive for such a small town. Far to the lake.

The room needs some renovation already but wasn’t problem for us. Although there was electric kettle, and we were in a two persons room but there was only one teacup, again wasn’t problem for us but maybe something to improve :D
Very calm surroundings, staff is super nice, our room was decent for this price and good for one night stay:) Breakfast also very tasty!
