The staff couldn’t have been nicer they helped us a lot and were very kind. The whole atmosphere of this place is very zen and very nice. The rooms also have good bathrooms Aircon and beds. We also saw monkeys while eating a good breakfast.

Breakfast was average compared to the other hotels we had stayed at in Sri Lanka. Service could be a bit more attentive but overall good.

The staff is lovely and the breakfast is great, I wouldn't recommend eating at the house besides breakfast though. We did and the food simply wasn't good, I recommend making your way out to the main street

Honestly our experience was more than satisfactory and I don't particularly have any complaints. The only thing was probably that they did not have a dinner menu which meant we had to seek out dinner elsewhere which was not an issue. I think this was because we went during off-season but other than that everything was amazing.

The breakfast was great! They did a great continental breakfast as well as a Sri Lankan breakfast which was my favorite. The place was so peaceful as we were the only guests... The pool was amazing. Loved our stay there!

Zen House is a jewel. With just four rooms everything has been carefully created to offer a true retreat. The service from the manager, chef and gardener was exemplary and kindness itself. Book it when you can.

We had bad experience of stealing at the hotel that hurts our trust.

Very calm and pastoral hotel, only open since December 23, relatively far from the beach but that’s what gives the privet feeling. The environment was good and so the team.

That we didnt have the time to stay longer!

Absolutely everything! By a long way the best place we stayed anywhere in sri lanka. Stylish, relaxing, everything spotlessly clean, lovely chilled muic playing throughout, all of the staff couldn't be more helpful and on hand for your every need. The rooms were spacious and well appointed with high quality furnishings and toiletries, felt bit like you were in a spa. Ahanghama was one of our favourite places on our trip and definitely our favourite on the coast and the staff and owners had some excellent recommendations for our time there for delicious food and lovely sunset drinks!

I did not enjoy sharing a table for breakfast with other people too early in the morning to be listening to people’s problems or harsh German accents. Sun loungers were dirty and cushions outside could do with a clean . Beside little fault it is an amazing place to stay

Beautiful place very stylish - great staff very friendly and delicious Sri Lankan breakfast . Nice and secure my room was very spacious with all amenities available . Tranquil setting with pool !
