What was supposedto be just a short pre-safari stay turned out to be a very nice experience. Staff makes you feel literally like at home and cottage's restaurant is a big plus. We had a lovely dinner by the lake just under coconut palms. Rooms are clean, spacious, equipped with AC. And swimming pool is a must after a warm day or a safari! We were very happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Yala Elephant Cottage is a hidden gem near the heart of Yala National Park. The staffs were amazing, friendly and very helpful from the moment we arrived to our departure. The chef was incredible, creating so many delicious dishes for all the guest each day. We highly recommend staying in and enjoying a meal cooked by this well trained chief. The food is very affordable and the staff were kind enough to set up a table next to lake. The rooms are comfortable and I highly appreciated the mosquito net bed.

The place is perfect for when youre visiting Yala national park. Lots of nature, view on the lake and a nice menu. The people were all working very hard and were very good and kind.

The place is beautiful, peaceful and clean. Perfect for a short stop to do a safari. You can order delicious food there but there are not much options around (especially without a scooter). The staff is very friendly and is always ready to help. Thanks for a beautiful stay!

Fantastic stay at Yala Elephant Cottage. Great rooms/cottages which were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Very nice pool to unwind in, which was clean too. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful, as was the curry we had in the evening. The cottages/pictures are exactly what this place looks like. We booked the safari through the hotel, which was really good, so would recommend doing this. Overall, we had a great stay here, the staff were exeptional, always smiling and polite. Special mention to Inoshan, who was extremely helpful and professional. Perfect stay if visiting Yala Safari.

Yala Elephant Cottage is a very elegant location with 5 cottages next to the lake, perfect as your base to visit Yala National Park from. We’ve stayed two nights and the owner and staff went out of their way to make our stay as best as it could be. They completely organised our Yala Safari with breakfast, lunch, drinks, fruits, driver, jeep, guide, etc. The staff cooked us very nice dinners and breakfast next to the lake. It has a swimming pool, which is very nice to cool down a bit. And the wifi is very good, super fast! We had a great stay and absolutely recommend. Very good value for money!

Amazing little collection of chalets overlooking the lake. Unfortunately due to heavy rain we only stayed 1 night. Clean and very friendly. Great little resteraunt. In the sun it would be a paradise. Loved it. Recommended if your after safari. Very helpful

The ants on the mattress and pillow. We were struggling with door lock as well, not a smooth opening one.

We had local breakfast and it was really good, but the Western breakfast requires a bit of an improvement. The location was ideal to go about.
