We decided to stay at this particular accommodation because we wanted to stay somewhere quieter than the hustle and bustle of Anuradhapura. In the end, this was a big surprise for us. The room, although relatively small, was very nice and spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom, which had hot water, which is not common in accommodation of this price in Sri Lanka. There is also a small refrigerator in the room. We enjoyed two delicious meals prepared for us by the very kind hosts at a very good price. Mihintale is beautiful and we visited some important places around there. The area around the accommodation was very beautiful and tidy and you could see many of its animals to play in the trees.

Lovely clean room with excellent facilities. The hosts are really lovely who make you feel at home and want to help you enjoy your stay. The food is absolutely delicious and I would recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Loved staying at the Village Life Mihinthale. The room is clean, has comfy, soft bedding, and has all essentials.Good lighting and plenty of electric sockets to charge our devices and work with my laptop.The bathroom was spotless and excellent hot water, so easy to use. The host, Mr. Gihan, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. His friendliness and hospitality were amazing. He arranged to show us the glamor of the sunset on Mihintale rock.There is a really nice viewpoint to watch the sunset and surroundings peacefully. The breakfast options were amazing.Host Gihan's mother made delicious Sri Lankan foods with love. Rice and curry was heavenly.Mr. Gihan arranged our transport, and the driver was also very professional. We love everything about this place. We will certainly be back!

Our stay at Village Life Mihinthale was absolutely wonderful. If you're interested in exploring historical sites, this is the perfect base. The location is excellent, offering a clean and calm environment, and it's conveniently close to the beautiful Mahakanadarawa Lake. What truly made my experience special was the host, Gihan. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable time. He even guided me to a fantastic viewpoint to witness a breathtaking sunset over Mihinthale – a view I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. I'm so grateful for their warm hospitality and highly recommend Village Life Mihinthale to anyone visiting the area.

It was worth paying more to stay at this place.The room and bathroom was spotless.Very quiet and calming place.During our stay,we got all the help from the host Gihan with planning our activities.He always made sure we had good and reliable transport.Breakfast was lovely with all local dishes.Very delicious srilankan foods.It was so peaceful to have breakfast in their little beautiful garden.Mr gihan and his family was attentive and kind & made every effort to make our stay pleasant & comfortable.Gihan arranged a cycle ride from guest to mahakanadarawa lake for us.That was superior experience.It's a very beautiful lake located in mihintale surrounded by serene nature.That was a perfect getaway.Highly recommend!

The guest house was incredibly clean and comfy.Bathroom also very clean and fresh.The host Mr gihan and his family provided the most incredible hospitality and warmly welcomed us to mihinthale.Mr Gihan assisted with arranging our transport,organized outings in the local area and gave us advice about what to see and do in mihinthale.The drivers he arranged for us were also excellent and friendly. We had dinner and traditional sri lankan breakfast at the guest house which was prepared by owner’s mother.The home cooked meals were delicious with wide variety of options.The location was calm and perfect and just away from the centre of town in a quiet spot.The garden is beautiful and peaceful.Wish we could stayed longer!

The entire place had calm and peaceful surrounding.Room was well maintained,neat and spotless.The bed is super comfortable.Bathroom was super clean with hot water.Most special thing is the host Mr.Gihan and his family were extremely attentive and helpful throughout our stay.We really enjoyed the delicious authentic village style foods.We had a chance to learn some traditional recipes by gihan's mom.She was lovely and that experience was amazing.We had a best village life experience also.Enjoyed our stay very much.Thank u!
