There is not a lot to do apart from the pool. It might be worth considering adding a table tennis / games

This is a beautiful colonial home transformed into a hotel. It is very peaceful and set in a lovely and lush garden. The pool is of a great size. It can be a bit warm during the day but the water temperature is perfect in the morning. The food is outstanding and the staff is absolutely brilliant. They are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable! It was a perfect last day in Sri Lanka!

We missed a pool biljart in the bar area. And they do not offer wellness, i.e. massage after a long haul flight.

Very nice mansion close drive to the airport. Perfect to spend anight after a llong distance travel. Beautiful mansion surrounded by green gardens. Cool pool and bar area. Delicious breakfast all freshly made and a la carte. Dinner authentic Sri Lanka Negombo cuisine. Staff very attentive. Nice bedding and large rooms.

Nothing - we loved it! Property is a little out the way so not for you if you want to be in the middle of the action, but that’s perfect for us.

Gorgeous place to stay and an incredible start to our time in Sri Lanka. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to the moment we left and kindly upgraded us to their suite as well as a lot of very thoughtful touches for our 10th wedding anniversary. Food was beautiful. Room was lovely, comfortable, clean and had everything you could possibly need. Thank you so much for an incredible stay, would highly recommend.

Beautiful colonial style property with a fabulous pool. We only stayed for one night after our flight so can’t comment on location as we were in and out the next day. But it was very easy to get to from the airport. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The bed was very comfortable. The food was truly delicious and we highly recommend the restaurant!

Nothing! I wished we had booked our last night here instead of another hotel in Negombo which wasn’t as nice!

This hotel was the perfect start to our holiday in Sri Lanka and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough! It is a beautiful colonial style house in tranquil surroundings. Our room was really clean and spacious and the bed was super comfy. The staff were so kind. It was my birthday day on the day we landed and the chef made a delicious chocolate cake and the staff sang me Happy Birthday which made me cry! Watching the Fruit Bats at dusk while swimming in the pool was really magical. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We loved our stay at Uga Riva. Once you enter its a little corner of paradise. I also want to send some special thanks to Kevin, who was super friendly and accommodating with us. We spent 1 night there and it was the perfect ending to our trip in Sri Lanka. The colonial property is beautiful, very well maintained and just a 30 min drive to the airport. Their swimming pool was gorgeous, we had all for ourselves and our toddler loved it. Book it if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay!

Nothing really though there could have been a gym or some sort of activity to do. if it had been raining as predicted it might have been a very boring day.

We spent the last day at this hotel before our early flight the following day. The property was very quiet, in fact we only saw 2 guests in the whole time we stayed there. We spent the day having lunch and swimming in a lovely setting. Rooms were lovely and dinner was very nice.

It’s the Most beautiful place to start or end your Journey in Sri Lanka! We spend one Night with our 2 years old son there and had an Amazing time! You are surrounded by palm trees, a super relaxed and charming staff and extraordinary good food! Thanks to the Manager and the whole staff for making our stay so great and unforgettable!

Fantastic stay in a beautiful colonial house. This was a great place to stay before our flight at the end of our holiday. Fab pool and large, spotless and well appointed rooms. Thoughtful twice daily turndown service, and lovely welcome to the property. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble, they were the perfect balance of always being available but you didn’t feel like you were being watched. The food here was seriously good - unexpectedly the best Sri Lankan food we had in our 4 weeks in the country, the pork curry is so good! Highly recommend for 1-2 nights (there’s not a huge amount to do here, but you also won’t want to leave while you’re here to the real world outside)

The grounds were meticulous . The outside area around the bar and pool were equally impressive. The rooms were outfitted with quality furnishings. The staff was exceptional. Service was 5 star. Food and drinks were delicious.
