This was by far the most wonderful place we stayed during our trip through Sri Lanka — and perhaps one of the best we’ve experienced on any trip. The room was cozy and beautifully styled, making it feel instantly like home. Every single meal was outstanding, from breakfast to dinner, with so much care and flavor in every dish. The location is just outside Sigiriya, tucked away in a peaceful spot surrounded by nature. It felt like a true retreat, yet still close enough to explore the area. The pool was perfect for cooling off and relaxing after a day of sightseeing. And then there’s the people. From the owner to the chef, every single member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. Nothing was ever too much to ask. This place is a rare gem, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Nothing, it was perfect.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here - it was perfect from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed with fresh juice, which set the tone for the whole visit. The views are absolutely stunning, and the pool was glorious, with pool towels thoughtfully provided. The staff were incredible - attentive, friendly, and genuinely eager to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was the BEST we had in all of Sri Lanka, cooked by the loveliest man we have ever met. Every meal was a highlight. Our room was immaculate and beautifully decorated, with a bathroom we adored. The air conditioning made it wonderfully comfortable, and we really appreciated how much the staff prioritised safety. There’s even a viewing deck where you can watch wildlife - such a special touch. Honestly, we would recommend this place to anyone. It’s a rare gem and a true 10/10 experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Really nothing to say here. I would give more stars if I could.

We were very very well taken care of at Tranquil Trails. Any transport to any place was arranged for us with very fair prices and lovely drivers. The accomodation is the perfect getaway and perfect to explore Sigiriya and the surroundings. The rooms are the perfect size with AC and with lovely interior. When we left we even got a small snack for our travels - very thoughtful - Istuti! The following accomodations will be hard to beat this one.

I had an amazing experience during my stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile truly exceptional service! The food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the variety and quality exceeded my expectations. The entire hotel was spotless. You can really tell that cleanliness is a top priority here my room, the common areas, and even the smallest details were all impeccably maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I will definitely be returning

This place is a real hidden gem! Mithupa and her Husband have created a beautiful environment to unwind in and a great base to explore all the sights and activities. They looked after us so well and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great experience. The food is wonderful and I recommend trying all the Sri Lankan, rice dishes and fruit plates. The pool is a blessing after a hot day out and perfect for a morning swim before heading out. I don’t want to leave!
