We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Sri LankaStaff started knocking on our door since 6am to tell us, they cannot accommodate a late check out even though they agreed to that earlier day before. Also, the bathroom was a complete disaster from the shower not working to mirror falling down the frame.
How the location was closer to everything we needed.

United KingdomService was slow for coffees in the morning, restaurant below was top heavy on price and limited menu, but there are plenty of places to eat on the beach. If you don’t like the loud music on the evenings, take ear buds. But this is the price you pay for a fantastic location
Fantastic location just on the beach, close to bars and restaurants too. The room was clean and spacious and all we needed from a basic hotel. The view was beautiful overlooking the sea but also felt private

United KingdomDifficult to get a sunbed if not down very early. Holes in and stains on bedsheets and the toilet was blocked on arrival. Bar next door plays music until 3am even when no one in it and it’s hard to sleep from the first room. We paid for best room here (£43 a night) but think the doubles vs king on the floors above would be better value for money - almost £10 cheaper and further away from the noise
Perfect location right on the beach. Comfortable bed with balcony, free sunbed use if you stay here. However, still cheapest option to stay on the actual beach

United KingdomTried to give cheaper room When in right room the roof leaked so it flooded room , and we asked for buckets .wasnt moved to another room till morning The next morning not up graded to another room but down graded to a room that only had 1 plug socket,, had ants and pests in room that if you used kettle would blow the fuse and we had to find fuse box ourselfs to get lights and electric back on in room. We asked severl times for it to be fixed but fell on deaf ears saying it would even after talking to owner. It got so bad my girlfriend fled to another accomadation as she was getting so upset and frusered that they wouldnt take our worries or concerned with how dangers the electric was. My girlfriend spent the last 5 remander days of our once in a life time holiday in another accomadtion. Where l didnt see her till the day we come home at the airport
