The hotel is a bit scruffy and there are lots of mosquitos by the pool area. Also, be careful if you stay on a Wednesday or Saturday. There are parties at a venue very close to the hotel and we found it difficult to sleep because the music was so loud in our room.

The location is lovely and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The AC in the room took half the night to catch up. The plug fell off the bedside light when we tried to plug it in. There were some bare wires in the pool lights but looks like it was all disconnected. All in all nothing unusual for this price bracket accommodation in Sri Lanka!

Our room had a very old, noisy air-con unit…time for an upgrade! As there are lots of mosquitos in the garden and the windows have no netting, you can’t leave them open making air-con a necessity.

The little houses where you stay are set in beautiful gardens around a long pool. There are comfy loungers and lots of shade. The rooms vary in size. Ours was dark but comfortable enough. The outdoor shower always had hot water. Breakfasts were ample, and they were happy to accommodate dietary changes to their menu. The staff were friendly. There is a good mosquito net in the room. There are so many restaurants in the area that we never used the in-house restaurant, but it serves snacks if you need them. A short walk to the turtle beach makes it a perfect spot to swim with turtles.

The day beds around the pool have very old mats on them, they need to be replaced. The garden is needs attention, it looks overgrown and unkempt. There are LOTS of mosquitos around and it would be helpful if the hotel provided some things to help with this.

The rooms are a bit stuffy and charmless. On arrival one of the 2 rooms we booked had a issue with AC and shower drain. it was quickly fixed but it would have been better to notice before our arrival. There was no room cleaning during our stay (3nights) but maybe we should have requested it. Overall the resort seems a bit run down (room, furniture, table ect.) which is a shame because the place has so much potential to be charming.

We loved the location, just in front of a small beach with turtles, very close to all sort of restaurants and beach bars. It was great to be able to reach Welligama for surf class easily while not be being in an overly crowded area. The resort itself was calm with a very beautiful and clean pool. The breakfast area in terrace was also very nice. The staff were very helpful, they answered fast to our request. They provided a delicious birthday cake for my daughter.

The coffee can be better, but this i dont know maybe it is normal in this region. not complaining. Maybe chees or something extra for the bread. The rooms: I don’t understand why there are no hooks in the rooms. There could also be more chairs/bedside tables to put stuff. There’s no place to put your luggage except on the floor. If you go to the bathroom, there’s no place to hang clothes or towels (this seems to be a common issue in many hotels for some reason). However, there were several hangers available for drying clothes.

The hotel is so beatiful. Lots of nature arround and the beach is just over the street. Iti s quiet to sleep. Staff is very friendly, the manager arrange the pick up from airport what was supper helpful. The pool is great. Breakfast is the same everywhere in Sri Lanka, Fruits and omlet+white breat +jam. It's okey.

It wasn't beach front as it was mentioned in the description. You had to cross little road and also the beach was rocky. Also, the rooms didn't have Wifi, and the wifi was only in the reception and dining area.

The pool and garden feel like a dream. It’s exactly like in the picture. We preferred staying here than on the beach. The stuff and the owner are very polite and friendly, we received recommendations on where we can go during the stay.

The Wifi reception did not reach our room which was a bit of nuisance, especially when trying to make your plans for the following day. Also, the outside shower is not just an outside shower it's an outside bathroom, which as enjoyable as it was, it was also slightly inconvenient when going to the WC at night - it's a love hate relationship.

Th reception, staff and owner were very friendly and helpful, which added to our amazing jungle bungalow experience. The room was simple and felt like glam camping providing a great escape from the busy city hustle and bustle. The location is unparallel with amazing beaches, restaurants and activities right at your doorstep. Only a short tuk-tuk ride away from other renowned beaches and to a supermarket made it a super convenient location. I often took a dip in the amazing pool on my way back from beach activities back to the comfort of my home.
