The well is a paradise, perfectly located, It is a place where every detail is studied and considered. The owners are wonderful, even though I stayed in the low season so never met you in person, they always answered the phone at all times and even after I left they continued to answer to my questions. I recommend the place hands down! The pink house next door does incredible breakfast, make sure to have a coffee there!

We stayed in the deluxe room with an outdoor shower—it was clean, comfortable, and smelled lovely. Traveling in the off-season, we were the only guests, which made it feel like our own private villa. The morning yoga just a few steps away was a real highlight. A peaceful and relaxing stay overall!

A beautiful, clean, minimalist, stylish, and very cozy and friendly place within walking distance to the city center. Great pool and an amazing yoga offer. The adjacent café is also great. Highly recommend! :)

Had an amazing stay at The Well Hostel! We booked a private room (not a dorm) and it was perfect. The location is fantastic—close to everything yet peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The overall vibe is great, making it a place I'd love to visit again. A special highlight is the outdoor bathroom, which was a unique and excellent touch to the experience!

Really enjoyed my stay at The Well. The dorm was clean and had everything you need, a lot of toilets and showers so never queue. Loved the rooftop yoga and swimming pool, definitely the highlight!! Good location a short walk from main road and a lot of restaurants. Have already recommended to others.

If you stay in the top beds in the dorms the stairs are a bit challenging. If you’re looking for a social area where you can easily socialize with everyone around actually there’s none. There’s a big balcony with shares but really convidativo for socializing. In the end it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a more quiete, relaxed experience and not so much if you also want to combine a relax environment with a bit of socializing.

The place itself is just incredible. The pool and environment still near the main road and the beach but just in a more relaxed, chilled environment.

The staff are really helpful and kind. The hostel is spotlessly clean. I was impressed with how clean and well maintained the bathrooms were which can be hard to find in hostels! The bed linen and towel were super fresh too!

One of the best hostels I every stayed in. Mixed dorms are usually full of girls :-) very few lucky men haha No seriously the beds are so comfortable and everything is really clean. And even though there aren’t really social activities people connect because it’s quite small and super nice to also hang out during the day.

Small nit but the shared drying racks was a bit rough, way better than the average hostel but would be nice to have more storage or hooks/hangers to organize belongings.

This was my favourite hostel in Sri Lanka! The hosts were so friendly and give you a welcome document with loads of recommendations about what to do and where to go. So comfortable and clean and met some really nice people there

Loved all of it and the Teak Suite has the most amazing outdoor bathroom. Great location if you like surfing / yoga and all the staff are great. The pink house next door is a great addition for food options.

The Well is the best place to stay in Ahangama! Super clean, perfectly located, comfy beds (with curtains!) and the dreamiest little pool. Plus the yoga shala is so good! Highly recommend it for your next trip! You'll want to stay forever!

It was perfect for a short stay. Very clean and well organised. Loved the location too. I do recommend doing the yoga session in the morning. It was a great way to start the day.
