No room heating, so not comfortable in colder days, bit away from the restaurants/city (not within the working distance), it's nice if hotel can provide nesseary items to prepare a cup of tea within the room

The Venice House is a little far out of town so hard to access restaurants and do some sight seeing without hiring a tuk tuk and driver. Although clean and comfy, the room was a little loud and check in could have been smoother.

The room was neat and tidy and had very thing we needed for a comfy stay. Thank you to Santush for helping us secure a tuk tuk and driver for the day.

Good place for a couple only. The room is not big enough for a family of 3 people. The one who cooks the food is good. His meals were very tasty 😋. Breakfast only gives rice and Curry no variations. We requested to change then only they changed for Roti..

The host is truly a wonderful person. He went out of his way to assist us with anything we needed, ensuring that our stay was as comfortable as possible. Whether it was providing local recommendations or addressing any concerns we had, he was always there to help. We felt very well taken care of and appreciated his kindness and attention to detail. Additionally, the price-performance ratio is excellent; we received great value for the quality of service and accommodations. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a welcoming and supportive environment!

Hotel is a tad dated, needs TLC ... The team is currently renovating and repairing.... Re breakfast - I prefer SL traditional breakfast rather than cold toast, weak coffee. For max of US25 it's a reasonably good place to stay.

Owner Santush provided great service, helpful and responsive. Room was comfortable and clean, extra items requested were provided. Views from from balcony rooms are fabulous, especially at sunset. Location is close to the waterfall... But a tad far from the city/lake. Santush went out of his way to secure a good deal for the Horton NP... We unfortunately cancelled on short notice after we realised that SL wants US$40 entrance fee for the 3h hike. Crazy price. Sorry again Santush for the cancellation. WiFi was great, too

Extremely kind and attentive staff. They took care of everything for us, from our luggage to offering breakfast even outside regular hours. Always smiling and welcoming. Everything was spotless, and both the food and the room were fantastic. Would definitely come back!

The staff was very nice and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and large portions. The room had its own private bathroom and fan. The village is very cold, even all the accommodation, so I really appreciated the warm blankets, hot tea - and hot water :)

Great hospitality. We stayed during the end of December From the time of arrival they were really helpful and we were greeted warmly. We bought the whole villa and it was an amazing stay. The owner (santhush)is really friendly and helpful gentleman. View from the room is very pleasant . 500m walking distance to Loversleep water fall. There’s pool table also. Highly recommended this place. 😊💐

It's a really beautiful place. The interior decor and also the garden is so intriguing. The owner, Mr. Santhush was really kind and pleasant. He was very helpful. When considering the facilities, it was worth it. The bathrooms and the bedrooms were really neat and tidy. And the Venice House is a great view point. No alcohol in the bar, restaurant had no choice, staff blasted out rubbish music in reception/restaurant, hotel is in the middle of nowhere so we couldn't get into town, bedroom roof leaked, came down for breakfast and noone was around, lights off, had to fend for ourselves ntil he heard the TV on and finally got out of bed to make breakfast. Absolute disaster
