The place is not easy to reach, and Google Maps might get confused for the last 1.5 km. The road is uphill and narrow, so Pick Me and Uber often refuse to come there. However, you can walk downhill and wait for a ride at the main road, where they are accepted. To find the shortcut to the road from the property, ask the helpful staff member, and they will show you the way

The highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly the person (young boy ) who served and helped us with everything. From preparing delicious breakfasts and dinners to assisting with luggage, providing information about the area, ordering tuk-tuks, and much more. Given that this bungalow is not easy to reach, I truly hope the owner compensates him fairly for all they do, which is practically everything. The bungalow is very nicely decorated. Feels like home.

Hidden Gem! Highly recommend this property. We had a wonderful 3 days at this beautiful property!! Great hospitality and food preparation by Thiliban (care taker). He was very nice, professional and ensured that we had a memorable experience.

Thiliban from the staff made our stay feel incredibly homely and comfortable. He prepared an outstanding Sri Lankan dinner, so good that I couldn’t resist asking him for the recipe! Although the bungalow is located a few kilometers away from the city, its serene and peaceful surroundings make it absolutely worth the stay.

The road leading up is abit derelect and the drive way to the house is very steep. There is also no stairs from driveway to the house and not very friendly for those who may have disabilities or back issues.

The cottage is so cute, beautiful relaxing view. Comfy beds and Frank the care taker is exceptionally attentive.

Extremely charming house with very clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious meals that can be eaten in the common dining room. Frank deserves praise, who was very helpful and caring and prepared a delicious dinner for us.

We had a great time staying with Frank at the tapherini hotel. It's a bit off the grid but very nice located on a hill. The room had everything we needed, even hot water - only a hairdryer would have been nice to have. The breakfast is good and the garden is really nice, if the weather is good enough :) Frank was super friendly and helpful. Thank you!!
