Great location to Adams peak, however, be ware in July that the weather is very wet and visibility is poor for the walk. Staff very attentive. Food was amazing.

Really nice host. Brought us thee when we arrived, coffee in the morning before the hike. And again thee after the hike. Let us check out at 15.00 instead of 11.00.

We loved everything.

WOW!!! We stayed 3 nights at Mango Tree. From arrival thru checkout it exceeded our expectations. Wonderful hosts and very good vibes in this hotel!! Terrence and Harue made us feel at home, always very attentive to our needs. The hotel has the best location, it's the closest to the peak. The room was clean and spacious with a nice balcony. We took our breakfast and dinner everyday, the food is excellent and plentiful. They also made for us some sandwiches to go to Adam's Peak. It was awesome! We highly recommend MANGO TREE. Thanks very much!

I loved my time here. Terrence was an incredible host. The staff were lovely. If you have the chance to stay in the double room I highly recommend it, the big glass doors and balcony are a highlight. Food was plentiful and delicious. It is very reasonably priced and is the best location for those wishing to climb Adam’s Peak (it is literally located at the start of the trailhead). There were pretty severe storms while j was there that kept knocking out the power and water but that’s not their fault. Terrance would fix the water and we would wait it out for the power to be restored. It didn’t interfere with much.

Everything! You can’t beat this location right at the start of Adam’s Peak path. The food here is amazing; they even catered to all my dietary restrictions. This new guest house is nice, modern, cozy with great views, big rooms and super comfy bed. The best part are the people though. The owner, Terrance, is one of the kindest people I’ve met. He even did the climb with me in the rain and strong wind!!

Great location if wanting to hike Adam’s Peak. Lovely friendly owner and the food was amazing and such incredible value. We recommend the Tuk Tuk ride! It’s such a great excursion and you can book through owner terrance.

We initially booked this hotel for just one night because we wanted to climb Adam’s Peak, and this was the closest hotel to it. However, we ended up extending our stay because the place felt so cozy and comfortable! The hotel owner and the person handling the work were incredibly kind-hearted and friendly. Their service was excellent and always helpful and attentive. The food was fresh and delicious every time. Everything was spotlessly clean and neat, including the rooms, which were very comfortable and well-maintained. The environment is peaceful, with no disturbing outside noise, it’s a very calm and relaxing place. Honestly, everything here was more than we expected. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. It’s worth every moment!

Perfect location for Adam's peak hike, literally at the base. Easy to access and owner provides excellent public transportation information. Dinner and breakfast here 1000 lkr each, both meals were abundant and delicious! Room was spacious, please note no toiletries provided. Filtered water available. Highly recommend!

I stayed here before I did the trek up Adam’s peak at 2:30am. The location is great as it’s at the start of Adam’s Peak. More than the great location, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They made sure I was comfortable and also woke up at 2am to help guide me in the right direction for the trek up. I was treated very much like family rather than just a guest here and would definitely stay here again.
