The design Is a delight for the eyes; comfort is premium in any aspect of this location; the staff is amazing and so is the owner, always ready to help you for any need. Also breakfast is exceptional, I strongly recommend to try at least ones all the delicious dishes of the breakfast menu.

We’ve stayed at The Find twice now, and it’s one of those places that stays with you long after you leave. It’s a living, breathing creative space, full of soul and intention. Every corner feels handpicked – filled with treasures, artwork, objects, and ideas shared by the owner, Myles, and his friends. You can sense that this place has grown organically, shaped by stories, good people, and beauty. Breakfast is a dream (the mushroom toast alone is worth coming back for), the coffee is excellent, and the spicy margaritas are dangerously good. The view from the rooms is breathtaking, and the surf break is at your doorstep. It’s not hard to explain what makes The Find so special: it doesn’t try too hard. It’s warm, wildly creative, and deeply personal.

It was one of the most beautiful boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. The attention to every detail was truly remarkable. Relaxing in such an extraordinary place was far more than just a pleasure. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, complemented by discreet, professional service, delicious breakfasts, and exquisite drinks. I would love to return there again.

It was all perfect!

We had the most amazing time at this hotel — honestly couldn’t recommend it more. The location is perfect, right by a beautiful beach with loads of great restaurants just a short walk away. The hotel itself was super clean, really well designed, and had everything we needed. It felt peaceful, stylish, and really comfortable. The staff were just incredible — so kind, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy. On our last day, they even let us stay in our room until our evening flight with no extra charge, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made things so much easier for us. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and we loved the free coffee and fresh coconuts until noon — such a nice touch! If I ever come back to Sri Lanka, I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

We had the best time in the Find hotel, despite feeling under the weather! It’s so beautiful, stylishly decorated and is offering stunning views of the ocean. Everything is new and very well maintained. All the details are thought through and picked with care. The staff were amazing - they were so kind, welcoming and accommodating, that we felt right at home. They even arranged for us to meet a doctor without a queue and took us there in their car! We wish we stayed for more days at this beautiful hotel, will definitely be back!

We loved everything about our stay at The Find. The vibe and the staff were excellent, the location was great and the room amazing. The overall aesthetics were 10/10 from the moment you entered the lobby and no detail has been spared - including a full length mirror in the room (which in Sri Lanka is rare!). Also a great area to chill downstairs by the pool or the bar, lots of shade and direct access to the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be booking here again.

Nothing. Just be aware it's a little bit far from Ahangama town and the road is not too pleasant to walk on, so if you don't have your own transport you'll need to rely on tuk tuks, but they are plentiful and cheap, and there are things nearby anyway.

The owner has really built something magic here (literally - he built it himself!). The hotel is totally beautiful with so many details that make it feel considered and special. The room with a sea-outlook balcony and hammock, lots of places to sit and chill, incredible breakfasts and coffee, lovely staff, a stone's throw from a beautiful beach... it was just perfect. Especially enjoyed our chats with the owner who's rightly proud of what he's built here. I can't wait to come back.

Everything about The Find was great! The room was spacious with plenty of room to store your things, and the interior looked exactly like in the pictures (just a note that not all rooms have a hammock). The views from the balcony overlooking the ocean were absolutely stunning. You can also enjoy sunrise and sunset from the rooftop. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The host and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though the hotel is located next to the main road, it wasn’t disturbing at all. The beach is right next to the hotel, and you can swim directly from the property, just be mindful of the rocks. And there's of course pool as well. And as a bonus, I had the best coffee and coconut of my whole trip here! The hotel truly stands out from the rest – super chill vibes, beautiful aesthetics, and just an all-around amazing atmosphere. Miles has done a fantastic job creating this space. Highly recommend!

We were lucky to get opportunity to stay at this property! Everything was absolutely great. The view from the room was exceptional, comfortable rooms, amazing and helpful team and hosts. Breakfast was delicious! Location is out of super loud area in Ahangama, very near by shops, bars, restaurants, swimming beach, surf places. It’s absolutely everything you need while staying in Ahangama. Thank you for this experience and definitely we will come back!

This hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment you walk in you get such a special feeling about the place. With only 9 rooms, it meant I was really looked after, nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff, the homemade breakfast was so delicious, as were the margaritas! 20 seconds walk and you're in the sea, or walking on the beach with a coconut in your hand, given by the hotel. The artwork and architecture is stunning, when I walked into my room it really did take my breath away. Words really can't do justice to The Find, so I suggest you go and experience it for yourself!
