As others have mentioned there is noise from other rooms - it didn’t bother us personally while we were there but if they could find a way to reduce the noise honestly we couldn’t fault the place! Another nice to add but not massive would be a safe in the room :)

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was lovely to have the outside area by the rooms to be able to relax after a day exploring. We had meals here and found the selection of food and drinks great and food was always fantastic. We had our own tuktuk so found the location no worries. They were also fantastic at catering to our wee girl for meals / making adjustments for things she would eat. What really impressed us was the service from 1 particular person (I forgot to grab his name) he was outstanding - based in the restaurant down stairs but regularly checked on us while we sat outside and went above and beyond.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Ella! The room was modern, super clean, and had stunning views. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

Lovely stay!! One of the highlights was how accommodating they were with our early schedule — we were heading out on a tour and needed breakfast at 5:30 AM, and they made sure it was freshly prepared and ready for us. The room was beautifully maintained and cleaned daily, which added to the comfort of our stay. We also appreciated the helpful local insights we received from the staff, including recommendations on what to see and do around Ella. The hotel itself is peaceful, stylish, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Overall, a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Ella — especially for couples looking for a romantic and memorable stay.

It’s about 5/10 minutes by Tuk Tuk to Ella town. This wasn’t a problem for us as the hotel was able to ring a Tuk Tuk for us whenever we needed it.

Nice, new and comfortable. We received a nice pot of tea every day when we returned in the afternoon.

Room not cleaned daily even the guests requested it, staff didn’t get the task done.

The walls in this hotel are very thin due to the nature of the building (made of wood) so in the morning we would hear kids crying or running around in the adjacent rooms which was a bit annoying but a minor inconvenience after all

Beautiful location and rooms, staff is very helpful and friendly- they helped us arrange a driver for a day cos us to sightsee more remote tourist spots in the area and were very accommodating of our needs. Daily room cleaning was very thorough

The rooms is not sound prof., you can here the neighbors easily. The hotel is placed a bit from town in a not so easy accessible road, a pool area would have been very nice.

Very nice new renovated hotel. The rooms are big, cozy and friendly with plenty of light. The restaurant serves very nice foods, and a very delicious breakfast. The staff is kind and serviceminded. One of the better places we have visited in Sri Lanka, we rec. to stay here.

The only negative is there is no soundproofing and the hotel rooms are made of wood so you hear everything! To be fair it was not late at night but it would benefit from some rugs on floor to reduce noise. Also whilst we did change arrival date, the room we had booked was not available and were not informed until we arrived when it was to late etc our room was comfortable enough but not the ‘luxury’ room we hoped for

It's a bit far from the city center and you'll need a tuk-tuk to get in and out of town. It's totally fine, we just didn't realize we were staying a bit further out.

Loved the whole experience- amazing hotel design with great attention to interior detail . Views from the balcony where we were able to relax in comfort, gave us a true flavour of the environment. Customer service, particularly from Hemantha was first class and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Feel.

A uniquely wonderful and comfortable boutique hotel, The Feel is one of the best stays in Ella. Suneth the Resident manager, gave the warmest and most cordial welcoming upon arrival. This eco friendly hotel is impeccably clean and new, as they just opened up in August. The decor and overall feel of the hotel makes for a most comfortable and refreshing stay. I highly recommend The Feel to all travelers looking for a nice, comfortable stay that will definitely make a lasting impression! I cannot thank Suneth and barman Hemantha enough for their friendly and exceptional service!
