They didn’t clean the room daily even tho it was beach front a sweep and fresh sheets would be a good idea as the sand is hard to keep out..

The room windows face the restaurant and the shoreline where there are people all the time, so we had to keep the curtains closed all the time

Ocean view from the room. First line (but this part of the beach is not for swimming because of waves and rocks) Large and fresh room with air conditioning and fan. The air conditioner is properly installed and does not blow on the bed, so you can safely sleep at night and not catch a cold Good breakfasts which include fresh juice and tea and hearty meals There is a supermarket one minute walk away Good restaurant on site Welcoming and friendly hotel staff who help with any request You can give your clothes for washing - 700 rupees per kilo Generally good wi-fi There are a huge number of cool restaurants within five minutes of the hotel The bathing beach is about a 10 minute walk along the shore. You can meet turtles and go snorkeling there

The music going at the restaurant could be a bother to some but it wasn’t a problem for us.

the air conditioning made strange noises at night and couldn't handle the 30 degree heat that was at night. It would be enough if they provided a good fan.

the room is literally on the beach! Waking up and sleeping to the sound of the waves is truly fantastic! the shower is wonderful and the food in the restaurant is delicious! unfortunately, not all the staff speak English, which makes interaction a little difficult (so everything I wanted to ask I used the booking platform and they responded promptly) but this does not alter the service provided in any way, they were very kind to They let me leave my bags at the hotel while we waited for the train that would leave later! the bathroom I think was the cleanest I saw in Sri Lanka, thank you very much to the whole team, I hope to return one day!

The A/C wasnt the best and worked JUST enough to make room cool. Whilst the rooms were huge, not the most modern. Thought they could make much more of the 2 sea facing rooms to justify extra price.

Fantastic location in Hikkaduwa, rooms steps from beach, great staff and a really popular beach restaurant which serves great food. Huge rooms. (2 sea facing, 1 facing a wall)

Adjacent to bar/restaurant so liable to be noisy. Our first night there was ruined by a very loud birthday party; no acknowledgement from manager.

Large, light & airy room straight onto garden and beach. Bath tub (NOT hot tub...) and shower. Good breakfast.

There was no trash bin. It is weird because it should be a very basic amenity of a room. Next to that, there was no shower gel.

It is located super close to the beach. You step out from your room and after a few steps, you are already standing in the sand. The beach and ocean can be seen from the bed and it is very nice to get up in the morning with this view.

The air con lacked umph, taking a while to cool down our room and struggling to keep it cool during the midday heat.

The breakfast was amazing, definitely one of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The location was also perfect, it was lovely to wake up and see the sea as well as being within walking distance to restaurants and shops.

The staff was nice and friendly! There were 3 dogs and the female stay with me for 3 days, was my shadow and was barging to any one was come close to me! I love it! She came with me to the next restaurant and she waited till I finish my dinner😍! She slept in my room so I could leave the window open all night to watch and listen the Ocean waves😍

There were some ants in the room and the ac was not really working. It broke during the night but they fixed it the next morning without even asking! However still the ac does not really cool the room.

They served us a fabulous Sri Lankan breakfast included String hoppers with dhal curry , coconut sumbal and fresh mango juice. The location is great opening to sea view .

Staff were not very friendly and I had to keep asking them questions as they did not cover things when I first arrived. I even had to ask for a room key because they didn't provide me with one. Always felt like I was bothering them. Room I was in looked out straight onto the restaurant so I had to keep my curtains closed at all times so could not enjoy the view.

Lovely big, spacious room. Big, comfortable bed. Bath and shower with hot water. Breakfast trolley in room with free tea, coffee and water. Big closet for clothes. Safe for valuables. Room service and the food was delicious. Great location in Hikkaduwa.
