Our room was sufficient for us and the two kids. Nice balcony with view. Air con worked well. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool. The dining area was amazing. Good food and a nice vibe.

Tricky roads to the hotel. However, in hindsight, had we noticed & followed the signs posted at junctions, we would have found the hotel easily.

My only fault was the pillows smelt a little damp but on the grand scale of things this was extremely minor.

The property was tucked up in the hills away from the smoggy town. The view was over the valley and it was nestled deep in nature.. the staff were all so friendly and accommodating even letting us use the kitchen…

Perhaps a little too inaccessible in its location away from town for Pick me and Uber drivers. Would have liked at least one more usable socket in the room as I had to share the kettle with my charger and the mosquito deterrent.

Beautiful view from my balcony. My room was clean on arrival and facilities were adequate for my needs. Breakfast and evening meals were good and my host, the manager, and his staff were all friendly and keen to please.

The spectacular view is because of how high the hotel is situated. It is therefore nearly impossible to walk to any destination and a tuk tuk ride is almost scary if you're from a flat country.

What a view over the city of Kandy, this, combined with the knowledgeable host is all we needed to have two pleasant days. The staff is very helpful, the food wonderful and the room we had spacious for the five of us.

It's a very very charming boutique hotel. It has an Italian design. The manager speaks good English and knows what hospitality is. He organised everything for us, was genuine interested and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast is also good. And it's easy in this hotel to also meet other travellers (with families). The views from the hotel are stunning, it's a little bit out of the city center but therefore also nice and quiet.

The road up to the Change is a bit steep and narrow so beware if you are driving.

The shower in our room was only a trickle (water pressure?) and cold only.

The location is away from the hustle & bustle of Kandy. The host met us on arrival and was courteous throughout our short overnight stay. The food served at dinner and breakfast was of a good standard and plenty.

The staff were amazing! So nice and helpful. The room was big and exactly as advertised. We loved the balcony to watch the sunset. The kids loved cooling off in the pool after a long day. It’s definitely an interesting drive up the hill from Kandy but so worth it for the views. The food was excellent! It is cash only so just make sure you bring enough ahead of time. Definitely recommend this hotel!

The drive up to the hotel was on steep small roads, so it was not conveniently located, but we managed to get a nice tour of Kandy.

The property was high above the city and had a beautiful view of the area.

Incline getting up to the hotel, tuktuk struggled alittle bit. Finding the hotel on locations was difficult. Cannot really order food from pickme. Hotel has a restaurant.

The Change Hotel was exactly what we were looking for. a locally run hotel with incredible views from its hilltop location. Our family room slept 2 adults and 2 children comfortably with an amazing view of the valley and mountains surrounding the area. There is a swimming pool perfect for a dip after a hot day sightseeing. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend and would come back.

such a lovely boutique home stay hotel! the view of the whole valley, the lovely rooms, the few floors with opened corridors and balconies, the dining room that opens to the pool down the few stairs!! and of course the lovely owner and his great guys always so sweet, so helpful, with such a cool and relax attitude! loved it!!!!!
