Kasun was fabulous we were welcomed with a big smile and a fresh coconut he looked after us so well we didn’t want to leave In fact we left twice to travel around the area but came back to Thambili as it was so much nicer we will definitely return.

Very nice and big room with good AC.. We were on the groundfloor, just a step into a fantastic garden. A staffmember made gardening with great care. Close to the beach and if you prefer pool there is one as well. Nice, calm feeling over the hole place, because of the garden and the nice staff. I will really recommend a stay.

Nothing. You do hear the train passing occasionally, but you stop noticing it quickly.

This is a beautiful place. Really peaceful and cared for. The yoga shala is just lovely and the gardens are gorgeous. The cafe on the beach is perfect. Fresh food and juices with sun loungers and some tables right on the sand. The staff are so kind, I'm leaving with new friends 🥰

Nothing to dislike, but yes, one suggestion if they can start a food facility in the resort.

Location between busy road and train tracks made it a little noisy. Also had to walk along the busy road to get anywhere.

Lovely pool area with lots of plants, comfortable sunbeds. Amazing balcony with sea view. Comfortable bed.

Beautyful little oasis with a wonderful caretaker, Kasun, who will go beyond to make guests happy. Very helpful with everything. Great pool and gardens, very nicelly furnished big rooms with terrace, comfy bed and a big area for yoga.Thank you

It was a bit far from shops and restaurants compared to what we had expected, but we could have researched that ourselves in advance.

It is a nice hotel with a good pool, amazing service from the staff and cozy environment. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The staff were so nice here! They went above and beyond what they needed to do. When we arrived it was late and we wanted to have some drinks. The manager drove to the liquor store and bought beers for us. The next day it was my birthday and they even got me a cake. Everything was clean, the pool was awesome and rooms were great.

It is really noisy especially from the railroad. When the train is coming it is like the space shuttle starts. The road also sounds

Beautiful accomondation, very calm and spacious. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for us since it’s just outside of the busy area.

Fantastic location by the quieter end of the beach. Spacious rooms and balcony with great views. Refreshing pool. Friendly and helpful staff and two lovely dogs. Beachfront restaurant serving fresh bbq food.

There was a lot of construction going on, as it was beginning of the season. Not all common areas were available (bar, restaurant, terrace).

Great location, really comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the balcony and the pool! The host was really friendly and absolutly helpfull. After we had an accident, he drove us to the hospital, talked with the police etc. We are really thankfull about that!

Lack of tea/coffee facilities. Kettle, cups in room but no teabags or coffee.

Absolutely loved our stay here and if we could have, would have definitely stayed longer. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. I felt like a small oasis away from busy Hikkaduwa. The pool was fantastic. The rooms were so comfortable. We had a balcony which was very enjoyable in the evenings or 1st thing in the morning. Great for spotting wildlife. We used Thambili Cafe a few times for breakfast and dinner, which was a wonderful experience and delicious food. We even liked the trains running outside, and felt it added to the experience of being in Sri Lanka. The staff arranged transportation to our next destination, and we would have taken up their offer to use their transportation from the airport had we not already arranged with another company.

it feels like breakfast should be included for the price which is not the case, their restaurant (3min walk) shuts down after sri lankan new year which left us with limited options in walking distance. property tucked in between railway and street.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and constantly checked on us if we are safe and happy. The place was looked after very well and every little bit of the property was planned and maintained well. Overall top quality place
