Water bottles had to be bought for each day no complimentary bottle but the issue was that you can buy it only up to like 10ish , after that no way to get water

You can by foods and drinks at the hotel. However price performance might be better at other places.

A calm area, at the edge of the city with direct access to the sea. You can get into the center easily by foot (30mins) or by bus (5mins). Particularly, we enjoyed relaxed moments at the terrace looking at the sea.

The mosquito net was too small for the big bed, so it was not very useful. No AC, but the fan did the job (even if noisy).

Very nice and cozy stay. The room is big and the bathroom very decent. The hotel is easy to find (right on the roadside) and the backyard gives directly to the beach. Sunbeds and shower (yay!) were available. The terrace/bar is super nice and wifi worked well there (I was working until the evening and it was very pleasant). The breakfast was very good and the family running it is lovely. Very recommended!

You need a tuktuk/scooter or a long walk to get to the main beach area / surf area. We had tuktuk so no problem

Extremely attending host and lovely family. Right by the beach. Clean room, comfortable bed, big pillows! Very simple breakfast, toast, fruit and coffee. Nicer than in the pictures!

A bit loud next to the main street. Though there are some restaurants nearby, there’s a much better selection closer to Hikkaduwa (15mins walk)

Great location on a quieter but better stretch of beach compared to Hikkaduwa central. Spacious and comfortable rooms. Good staff and decent meals. Very good value for money.

Lovely place, lovely owner, which was extremely friendly and always helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. The beach is beautiful and the see is rough. You find plenty of restaurants of all kinds close, also shops, massages and more. All in all: 9,5 out of 10!

The room had 4 wall sockets, but all of them were 5A. The owner did provide a convertor, but it would be better to bring ur own.

Spacious room,breach front, and has 4 tables for you to relax while looking at the sea. Beach area is pretty clean but felt unsafe for a swim so be careful.

The room facing the street is very noisy, but it did not bother us. For a minimal extra charge you can change rooms and sleep with the sound of the sea.

Incredibly friendly and open host family. Perfect location directly on Narigama beach. Supermarket in 5 min reachable. If you like long walks, you can reach Turtle Beach, Hikkaduwa Beach and many restaurants in about 20 - 30 min. Otherwise you can take a TukTuk. Breakfast is simple, but super tasty.

Tamaro beach was a very nice place, beachfront in a calm area also walkable distance to Hikkaduwa city. We enjoyed the breakfast with sea view during our stay and hosts were very friendly and hospitable. They did the airport pick up when we arrived to Colombo.

The hosts are really amazing and make you feel most welcome- like home. I had a very simple non-ac room since my stay was rather spontaneous and was a bit concerned before my arrival. However the room proved to be very comfortable and well-equipped with furniture, the fan cooler was enough for comfortable temperature in the room, warm water was always available in the bathroom, guests can use sun beds and umbrellas at the beach. All the property is extremely clean (no insects also) and the hosts really take care of the safety. Also the hosts are always at your disposal for any request. The location is good with plenty restaurants and food shops in the area, you can walk a couple of minutes to the bus stop. I am very grateful to Talin and his family for their Incredible hospitality.

Got disturbed by the constant wave breaking with the sea view, but that's possibly just me. But I didn't sleep much. Tiny bathroom where the shower and the toilet shared the space...

actually nothing, so far my best stay in Sri Lanka!

Talin, the owner picked me up from the Airport in Colombo (for a fair prize) and we drove down to Hikkaduwa. His little Hotel is right at the beach. I had to walk about 10m until my feed touched sand. My room with Aircon and fan was simple but really clean, as well as the bathroom. The food they served in the restaurant was good and I was able to rent a scooter from Talin too (for a really good prize) which was not as worn down as many scooters are here in Sri Lanka. He trustet me and didn't even ask to keep my passport for it, left the gate unlocked so I could get in at night (after partying) and did everything to make my stay really comfortable. He told me, which laundry place was good and where I should not go and never tried to sell me something that I didn't ask for. I can really recommend this place!!!
