The Suites could do with a refurbishment. Specifically the the rattan blinds and the wooden floor could do with a cut and polish Didn’t like the fact that guests got into the pool in their day clothes.

Food and drinks and location was good , the staff were also friendly and welcoming.

We arrived on a Saturday and found there were around 100+ locals swimming in the pool. It made it extreamly uncomfortable and we were unable to enjoy a relaxing time around the pool.

The place is beautiful. Rooms are large with so much room.

The Wi-Fi was very spotty at times. The room was clearly dated where the outlets were not secured to the wall and there were not enough hangers available to use. The linens were a little worn. The bathroom’s sink facet was loose and there would be an unknown odor that would come from the drains. The lighting in the rooms were a little weird in terms of the placement and where the switches were located.

The location is amazing, right by the ocean. The outdoor amenities - particularly the pool was phenomenal. Our room was very spacious. The dining experience was good.

Staff's were not friendly and accomodative. Probably they are stressed with the guests arriving back to back during long weekends. Restuarant in the buffet area was very hot and humid with flies and cats roaming around the buffet spread. P

Unfortunately there was a problem with the water, so we couldn't use our bath on our balcony as it was running with brown water!

We used this hotel as a one night stop off when we arrived before travelling around Sri Lanka. The location is remote, but that didn't bother us as we only stayed at the hotel. The pool was big and clean, whilst the room was really comfy.

Poor attention of the restaurant staff and cutlery not in keeping with the type of food served, I.e no steak knives for grilled meat items. Also the property could do with some renovation

Staff manage to arrange a nice place for our dinner. However we only let down by dinner. Food was not great.

The AC in my room was not working properly and when I informed, someone from the engineering team came and he couldn't fix the issue, but he said some jibberish and pulled one on me.. luckily there was a fan.

The pool and the beach was lovely.. food was excellent.. But the best part is the staff. Super wonderful and efficient..

5 star in Sri Lanka is not the same as 5 star in the western world but it is stunning and beautiful for Sri Lanka.

The staff are so kind and helpful. They treated us very well. (The bell boy - Premachandra, was always so adorable and chatty). One of the receptionists was extremely attentive and friendly. There is other staff that are so lovely here but these are the 2 people who stood out to us. The pool is huge, clean and refreshing. The sunset view by the beach is amazing. We felt very safe and comfortable here.

Very confused staff at restaurant (They asked very precisely what we want from the breakfast menue and brought things completely different. Sometimes very limited English skills.) Hotel is aging what isnt even a big issue - but for example around the pool area floor boards were cracked which is a significant safety hazard. Beach was dirty.

Location is good, seems management is not very keen on attracting visitors. Very less facilities. Restaurant is very weak. Room rate is so expensive

The food was mostly Western. There was hardly any Sri Lankan food. Service was ok. Didn’t like the way the dogs were treated by the security guards. They were cruel. Rooms need updating.

The suite comes with an outside whirlpool, but given that it takes an hour to fill it’s hardly usable. Doors don’t fit well on the outside and the aircon is loud and not strong enough for the size of room. Food in the restaurant is very poor for the price and hotel rating.

Room was big with good facilities, although I had to ask for extra cups, towels and a safe. I booked a suite so did expect better.
