It is a little far away from the city centre and the road to arrive there is quite a thing. Of you ise a tuk-tuk to arrive there, you are up to an interesting experience!

We really enjoyed our stay in Ella. The room was big and clean, and so was the bathroom. We really liked the views and all the plants in our little terrace. We had breakfast and dinner there and the food was amazing!

It's a little bit of a walk from Ella city, so we tended not to return during the day. However this is ideal if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle! The hosts spoke limited English and did not interact with us much. This was no problem at all, but may not be for you if you want a place that will give you lots of recommendations!

The room was lovely and comfortable, with our own little terrace area from which you could see the waterfall and watch birds! Breakfast was very nice. The hosts were very friendly and value for money was excellent!

This is a little bit up on the hill, may face transportation problem.

The surroundings is very good. The owner helped a lot during the stay which made us to feel at home. The breakfast is so good. Worth the money.

Beautiful view, very quiet location at the end of a steep road. We were happy that we came by taxi! It's lovely to wake up by the sound of birds and to have breakfast with a breathtaking view on the mountains!

Communication with the host was difficult. I asked a few days earlier how to get to the place and had no answer. We also asked to have a coffee first and then breakfast and it was also not understandable. Breakfast was very good and fresh. There was no kettle or cups in the room like shown in the pictures and it was annoying asking for hot water each time. Hard bed and low water pressure

Amazing view from the deck. There are two rooms beside each other but divided with flowers which are beautiful. You drink your morning coffee with a beautiful view. Room very basic but comfortable. It's about 15min to the town by a railway track. From the bus stop about 20min uphill so be prepared. However the way is so beautiful that you don't need a tuk tuk. Mosquito net in the room.

We liked everything. Yes, there is a steep driveway , but we walked the railway line which wasn’t a problem . The neighbour has a Tuk-tuk if you don’t like walking.

We loved the peaceful location and the scenery. The room was spacious and clean, very hot water which was a treat! Pretty seating area on the balcony for relaxing and breakfast, which was very good.

Very friendly and accommodating family-owned homestay. They were very flexible and allowed us to book and check-in with late notice. They also prepared breakfast for us to takeaway very early in the morning when we had leave to the train station.

The steep driveway is difficult to navigate in sandals... More grip is needed on the surface to prevent slipping when wet. But this is minor and not something to put you off!!

One of my favourite stays in Sri Lanka. Very comfortable rooms, clean, hot water, comfortable beds. The views are absolutely stunning. The hosts are very friendly, providing a lovely big portioned breakfast at a time of your choice and provide tuk tuk services if you need it. Property is only 15 mins walk to Ella, along the train tracks and pretty much on the Ella Rock hiking trail head. I would have stayed longer if I could. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you!

Only critique I have is that the owner was a little late to drive me to a tea plantation, so unfortunately I didn‘t have enough time there to do a tour. He also charged 10$ for the 10 minute ride which I find quite expensive. Be aware that it is quite a walk to Ella center.

This place is magical. Nestled in the rolling hills around Ella, you will find true serenity here. The views from the terrace are amazing. The room itself was perfectly clean. Breakfast was also really good and the owners are very friendy.

Access can be difficult with steep hills. Inaccessible for cars but notify the family and they will assist with tuk tuk. This is a lovely place to stay.

The place was clean and comfortable. The family was helpful; They dropped us to Ella city and train station with tuk tuk. It was quiet and the view from balcony was nice.

The only one dislike item is the access to the property by a vehicle. If anyone travel with public transport, they can neglect this issue. but we travel with a car. so we couldn't directly access to the premises by a car, due to high climbing situation. but they suggest two nearby places for parking and support to bring our belongings. Size of rooms are little bit of small than we expected. Anyway we appreciate the owner Lady to support us very much. As a entrepreneur, I really appreciate her very much for the kind service.

Really satisfied the service they provide. very kind staff (the beautiful lady who is owner of the property). There are 4 type of breakfast menu. 1. Hoppers 2. Roti with lunumiris 3. Sandwiches 4.Rice and two curries. we can choose one type what we like to enjoy. very cleanliness place. well maintaining. Hot water system working properly. newly build bathroom with adequate accessories. I really appreciate the owner lady, very much for the kind service.

Watch out for the wasps but this is regarding the whole of Ella

Breakfast was delicious with HUGE portions! Nice quiet area only 10-15 minute walk from town down the railway track. Room was very premium.
