The only problem when we came back at night they weren’t water at all not in the toilet and not in the sink when we talked with the nice lady in the morning she told us that the water ran out and if we would let her know she would fix that.

The family was so nice and the view were amazing. The room was clean and the bed was really comfy. The blanket was great and the AC was amazing.

I had an amazing time here, the view is really amazing! The guesthouse is outside of the center of Ella but easily accessible walking or with tuk-tuk. I spend some quality time with the family running it learning about their history, it was very nice. With their reserved nature, they made sure I had everything I need. I had the wooden room on the top floor and loved it! Really different than most rooms here in Sri Lanka. The balcony with the amazing view on the waterfall was truly amazing. I spend quite some time there watching the view or the rain fall. The breakfast was really good and different every day.

Very beautiful surrounding. The property overlooks a pretty waterfall. The owner of the property and hos family are really nice. The star of the property is the caretaker Tushara who is a multi-Tasker ftom bring a cleaner to tuktuk driver. He also cooks great breakfast.

The guesthouse is on the outskirts of the city, although there is a 15-minute walk to the city, the road is quite steep and in addition the walk is on a busy road, not the safest at night, so almost every time you leave the guesthouse, even if it is to buy groceries at the supermarket, you will have to take a tuk-tuk (the cost is quite cheap for a round trip). In addition, because of the location which is very close to nature, although the room is clean and tidy, insects have often entered the room from the nature outside, this should be taken into account when booking a room here. The internet was slow and disconnected every now and then - the owner of the place always made sure to turn it back on as soon as he learned of the problem.

The guesthouse is on the outskirts of the city, there is a great view from the room window and the balcony, you can see the Ella waterfall and Ella Rock. Kirhaty the host was kind and helpful with every request. The room is large, spacious and clean. The breakfast was excellent. In summary, why come here - the people, the atmosphere, the views and the price.

The view from our room was gorgeous! The owner and his family very hospitable , friendly and helpful. He also recommended us the cooking lesson in Clay Pot cooking class which was really great! Breakfast was a little different every day and very good. We would certainly stay again.

Beautiful homestay with the best waterfall view in Ella and the lovliest people. They prepare incredible breakfast in the morning and are happy to help with sightseeing tips. A bit away from the busy, loud town but easily accessible with a Tuktuk on the main road (and a short & easy walk to the building).

Our room was not completely sealed to the outdoors, which allowed bugs of various sizes to enter (mosquito net is in place). Not a major concern for us, but may be worth mentioning.

Amazing hosts who are very friendly and helpful, great location and view from the balcony, homecooked breakfast and dinner were very good, we enjoyed staying here!

View is exceptional, breakfast and shrilanken tea fantastic, room was perfect for what we needed. Host was kind. You can hire moped from him and he has a taxi to get you back to where you need to go- however state you want the fastest route, our trip took an hour and a half longer because we did not go on the freeway and were taken the scenic route - there was no extra charge for that but had we known upfront we would have said to go the fastest route on the freeway.

Lovely little place just out of Ella up quite a bumpy road. Gentleman that owns it with his wife cannot do enough for you. Shower warm. Breakfast was great too. Views amazing (see picture)! Would stay again.

Amazing location only a 10 minute walk into Ella’s Main Street. It has the most beautiful view overlooking Ella rock and the valley below, such good sunsets! The room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed including fridge, microwave, kettle, & hairdryer. The owner also went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and even had two scooters delivered and ready for us for the day!
