Everything was great, especially the staff, in particular Siri. One of our rooms was upgraded free of charge which was fabulous. It was also our wedding anniversary while we were there and the staff worked with our children to make it extremely special. Siri had great attention to detail and made sure standards were high and made everything wonderfully perfect - we are very grateful to him for making it so memorable.

We had the most relaxing weekend at Suite Lanka. The hotel is beautifully located right on the beach, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve found a hidden gem. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. Every part of our stay felt thoughtful and personal, from the service to the quiet garden and pool area. It was the perfect place to unwind, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

It is very quiet, best for couples or couples with small children.

This is a boutique hotel with 9 rooms. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent. Nice view from eqch room. Small pool is adequate. The location is in a quiet area about a 15+ min walk South of Turtle Beach/Hikkadua Beach. Big beach but undertow makes it better for walking than swimming.

The property is showing its age in a few areas. No ac in bathroom area. The pool is small with space for only two loungers which are poorly placed. The sea adjacent to the hotel is too rough to swim in.

The staff were excellent, led by the outstanding Siri. The property is quirky and ideally placed on the sandy beach. We loved having our meals overlooking the sea. The food was great with a very wide choice at reasonable rates.

Generous sized clean rooms in colonial style, with ocean views from the balcony. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was extremely generous and served on a sandy patio overlooking the beach. Food at Olin’s, was amazing! We loved the jumbo prawns and local curries. Happy hour drinks were a bonus. It was in a great location, a 30 minute walk to Hikkaduwa and turtle beach. The surf out the front was lovely to watch, but less safe to swim, however there was a patrolled beach a short walk away where a surf school was located. We also enjoyed the pool. As a family group spread across three rooms, it was perfect!

Family of 4 traveling for one day to Hikkadua and were met with wonderful service and a lovely place to stay. We had a ground floor double room and it was incredible spacious, clean and comfortable. Right on the beach and a quick tuktuk ride to the marine safari park (wouldn't rate that too high) and also the turtle beach. We walked down on the beach to the hotel on the way back and there were some lovely places along the beach, including restaurants etc. Breakfast was nice and the pool was a nice too.

It’s a lovely Boutique place with direct beach access, the facility is tranquil and quite. Their food is amazing at Colin‘s. Their staff are helpful and attentive they have a lovely clean pool. I will definitely come back thank you Siri, Kumara and Team. Our child was very happy at the pool and he loved the hammock and the fish

We travelled with our 15 month old and the staff were all so helpful and friendly. They even offered to keep her while we had dinner which was very kind of them. Everyone from the security at the property was always happy to help and was always with a smile on their face! The rooms were a pleasant surprise! So well thought out and had all the comforts you could ask for. To wake up to the view of the ocean from your bed is such a luxury. The beach area was maintained so well and our little one had the best time running on that beach. Oh and last but not least the food! All the dishes we tried was so delicious and the portions were extremely generous. They had a kids menu which was was great and even got us milk rice even though we forgot to inform them in advance. All the staff there went above and beyond. It was the perfect beach getaway and we can’t wait to be back!

The fish pond in the hotel is badly neglected. The fish were clearly lacking oxygen and struggling to breath.

Suite Lanka is a superb boutique style hotel. Staff was excellent, location, and food was also to the highest standards. A short 15 minute walk takes you to the amazing Turtle beach where you get to feed and swim with giant turtles. Hikkaduwa and Suite Lanka was one of the highlights of our trip. We were a family of 4 and stayed at the Suite Lanka Heritage suite which was very comfy.
