United KingdomThere isn't any heating in the room and so it was a little chilly in the daytime, although there were plenty of blankets for the beds and so it was fine at night. The bathroom took hours to dry out once anyone showered, and was quite slippy when wet.
The room was spacious and clean, with a large, nicely decorated bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. There was a kettle in the room and a large shared space outside the room, which had fumigation tables and a large communal fridge. The owner was very nice and lived in the house below the rooms. It was a pleasant 20-minute walk into Nuwara Eliya.

GermanyThe owner is a very lovely woman with whom we got along very well. The accommodation is very clean and offers a beautiful view from the balcony. The breakfast is also highly recommended. Taking a tuk-tuk (about €1 with Pick Me) is advisable to get to the city center or the lake, as the accommodation is located a bit uphill. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the city center. Overall, a absolute recommendation.

AustraliaI found the bathroom difficult to manage especially if in a hurry as it was the old style of Sri Lankan bathroom with the shower set in front of the toilet. So, lots of mopping and wiping before using the loo again after a shower if you didn't want wet clothes each time!
The breakfast was adequate. Padma was lovely and very willing to try and meet our needs when we asked for things although communication was a little challenging, so things got lost in translation, this did not spoil our stay as we found it to all be part of the experience. The bathroom was a bit tricky to manage as everything gets wet with the shower being in the middle of the room.

FinlandThe single bed was uncomfortable for an adult (hard plywood and very thin mattres). We only managed to get cold water with poor pressure from shower (could be just bad luck). With crisp and moist air some sort of heater in the room would be good. It was impossible to get wet floors, clothes or towels to dry.
Good sized clean room and balcony with view. King size bed was comfy. Qwner was really sweet lady, we cooked dinner with her and it was very nice experience. Tea in the room, it was great to have a cup watching sunrise in your balcony. Breakfast by the host very good. Location was convenient.

GermanyAt the time while we were staying there it was really cold in Nuwara Eliya. So the room was also quite cold. The Host brought us warm blankets so it got couzy and comfortable :)
The host was one of the nicest hosts we had on our trip. She was so lovely and kind. The room was clean and had a beautifull view! We recommend getting the breakfast for an extra 2,50$! It is absolutly worth it.
