Owners are really friendly and helpful. Managed to get us a driver for the whole day with affordable price. My friend has a gluten free diet and this was not an issue for the breakfast or dinner. Slept really well here.

Before the trip I have read that swimming pool was there, but not really clean to swim in - it is true. They did clean it in the morning, but still water looked darkish. I think it is because of the dirt from the road above. Also note that the distance to the centre that is provided on the Booking is not accurate. According to our driver it was definitely around 5 km. I recommend checking if you plan on walking to the dinner in the evening, Roads are narrow and dark.

This is a very nice place located a bit outside the city. The beds are comfortable and clean. The owners' wife greets guests in the morning and explains what food is served. There is two types of breakfasts to order. We choose English type and it was good. The dining place is located in the small garden among flowers.

Wonderful spacious clean, modern room with wonderful view and balcony. Place of calm which welcome after being out and about in Kandy. Pool good for a dip. Owners very welcoming and helpful with information/advice to ensure pay appropriate prices e.g for tuk tuks and Kandayan dancing. They were happy to book tuk tuks for me which was appreciated (I was not using any apps).

We were happy to be away from the city centre, but if you want a bit of night life, you would need a Tuk or taxi to get in.

This place was a haven, away from the hustle and bustle of central Kandy. The owner was delightful and helpful. The food was lovely and fresh. We didn't use the pool, but it was clean and fresh looking. The children of another visiting family seemed to very much enjoy it. The room was clean, fresh and comfortable.

The location is far from Kandy main interest points, and there is nothing around. If you do not have car you might feel isolated. The pool was not really clean Restaurant prices, including breakfast, were high

Some distance out from the madness and pollution of downtown - a green haven a pleasant Tuk Tuk distance from the city Quiet and linked to a well established charming 100 year old “rest house” Lovely family owners - so helpful and warm Great breakfast too

It was too far from the centre to be able to walk. However on checkin we were advised to get a SriLankan sim and to use Pick Me to arrange our rides. It made travel easy and we saved money.

The rooms were as good as you will find in any hotel. The restaurant had a good menu and the food we ate was well prepared and tasty. The owners were really helpful and checked in on us every morning to ensure we didn’t need help arranging anything.

The hotel was very nicely presented (although it is worth noting that the hotel rooms are not in a bungalow at all), the pool was clean but cold, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel most days (for an additional cost) and the food was tasty.

Far away from Kandy in the hills. Not close to to any restaurants or anything other than accommodation. Tiny bugs in the room. Probably due to the location. Felt a bit in tidy but would stay here again

Pool is really not worth writing about it took the staff several hours to try and clean it but lots of chlorine but it was worthless and could have been better maintained.

Quiet location only 8-10 min with tuk tuk from town center. Big nice, clean modern rooms with good beds Breakfast is okay not the best and served in a very slow pace so be patient!

The place is located a bit off from Kandy and requires some kind of transport. However it was quiet during the night.

This was the first place we stayed at when we arrived in Sri Lanka, and it was excellent. Very nice and helpful hosts. Our kids loved the swimming pool:-)

We had a wonderful stay at St. Bridget’s Country Bungalow! The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful, providing us with great tips for visiting the Kandy Temple and the traditional dance performance—both unforgettable experiences. The location is ideal: close enough to the city for easy access, yet peaceful and quiet, offering a perfect escape from the chaos of Kandy. We truly enjoyed the charming atmosphere of the bungalow and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Kandy.
