In a nutshell: majority of staff had communication difficulties, squirrels cost us sleep during night Our story: during our stay, we had two issues -Wi-Fi not working at all and our AC stopped working as well - for the Wi-Fi issue we got discounted the service charge (10%) and for the malfunctioning AC we got a room of similar quality for the one remaining night. Both issues were handled Therefore, our rating is 9 (boosting the overall score at this point) and not lower.

Very nice beach/Oceanside property, huge rooms, incredible view, pool usable 24/7, very calm and silent surroundings (if it isn’t for nature), rating is based on very good issue handling

Location: Peaceful and quiet, but still close to Hikkaduwa town — just a short tuk-tuk ride away and the beach Literally right at your doorstep! We took long walks. Staff was so kind and helpful. They made us feel truly welcome and looked after everything with care.

We loved this accommodation as it was private, relaxing and extremely comfortable. It was wonderful to have the pool outside our door and to relax and enjoy watching the birds in the palm trees, the sound and view of the beach and waves. The staff were helpful if needed but gave us plenty of privacy. A short tuktuk ride to Hikkaduwa, the turtles, great cafes, shopping etc. Or stay in and get room.service. Highly recommend a stay here.

The location is very nice as the Hotel is directly at the beach and also has a nice pool. You can easily drive to Hikkaduwa for ca 900 rupia and spend your day there. The staff is super friendly and food is organized flexible and quick. I highly recommend this hotel.

Not a lot to do nearby without travelling but this suited us to just relax-very close to the beach for a nice stroll.

My stay at the Sri Lanka Beach House Hotel was an absolute dream! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The beachfront location is stunning! Waking up to the sound of waves and stepping onto soft, golden sand was magical. The sunsets here are picture-perfect and unforgettable. 🌅 The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed and cared for throughout my stay. the food here was exceptional , especially the Sri lankan breakfast and the fresh tropical juices , apart from this the team was really really responsive . hem and the team was just so fantastic at taking care of us. we were able to completely enjoy our stay and rewind and relax. hem was was very very nice to us in fact I fell sick and he helped us with getting essential medicines even late in the night and the team was also always on their toes with whatever we needed. overall the experience was amazing and we enjoyed the say. the bedrooms were phenomenally large , clean and very well maintained

Some water was dripping from the one of AC right on floor, but Hem managed everything and gies fixed this technical issue quickly.

We were staying at beach bungalo, closest one to the ocean. So the atmosphere was really great: sound of waves, almost nobody on the beach. My wife and my daughter were very exited. Bungalo is really huge, and its very cool that bad is located on upper floor with great view on the ocean and beach. Very cozy and comfortable. In the evenings it was always rainy weather and we loved to watch heavy rain from the balcony in bedroom. Great dinners and breakfast for fairy price, everything was fresh and really tasty. I bet you cant it it all! Also its very easy to get to Hikkaduwa and others places, everything in 10 min on tuk tuk, but there is markets and small shops in village in 10 min walking, even wine store))) Especially thanks to Hem, hotel manager, he was always in touch, kind and tried to help with every question. Hotel staff was kind and polite, tried their best.

Amazing location , food was perfect chef knows a wide verity of cousins. Staff is very friendly and room service at anytime of the day. Arranged the lunch at garden and dinner on the beach with action cooking. Amazing place for couples and family very calm and sound of the ocean will rise up your life.
