A very beautiful and eco hotel. The pool is amazing! The staff is so kind! Always with a smile. And since it was my daughter birthday, they have done a chocolate cake, delicious, and pancakes - because she loves it. Thank you so much to all the team. It was fantastic and very happy days there!

Kitchen closed early one day without notice. Not a massive problem as there are eateries nearby, but we were planning to stay at the hotel for our evening meal.

Pool is awesome - Magnificent views all around when you swim in it!..Staff were lovely and accommodating with our requests. Super close to Mirissa's main beach, which puts you within 3 minutes walk to Parrot Rock and some beach front eateries. Super highly recommended.

The staff speaks limited English. The exhaust fan in the shower was extremely dirty, and there were several small issues in the room, such as an old, unkempt fridge, dirty walls, and some mold in certain areas. Fixing these details would make the hotel truly wonderful. The safe was not working.

The hotel is located slightly off the main street, so you’ll have a 10-minute walk from the main beach. However, once you’re on the hotel grounds, you’ll feel like you’re in a nature reserve—monkeys, squirrels, peacocks, and many other birds can be seen right from the balcony! Delicious and generous breakfasts, with special thanks to Mr. Sila, who always took great care of us. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. A very Instagram-worthy pool. The staff is always helpful, so don’t hesitate to reach out to them with any questions.

Close to Mirissa town and the beach, only a 3 minute walk. The hotel is modern, smart, very clean and run by lovely people. It overlooks the jungle at the back and you can see parrots, peacocks and monkeys from your balcony and the pool.

We couldn’t really open our curtains in the morning because the restaurant could see straight into our room. Asked for pool towels twice and the first time they did not have any available, second time we were supplied with one pool and one small towel.

Surrounded by beautiful trees and nature, the location is truly serene and relaxing. The pool could have been a bit cleaner, which might be due to the natural setting. The rooms are cozy, though a bit on the noisy side with sounds carrying through. Overall, it’s a lovely place to unwind.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Somerset Mirissa Eco! The location is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Waking up to a symphony of birds and enjoying the view of the rainforest, with monkeys and squirrels nearby, was simply magical. The rooms are modern and well-equipped. The water pressure and hot water were exceptional – something you don’t often find in Sri Lanka. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They assisted us with arranging a tuk-tuk and a scooter and went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests. Breakfast was outstanding, featuring a generous fruit buffet along with a choice of English breakfast or traditional Sri Lankan dishes, which were absolutely delicious. We would love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing stay! 🌿😊

The curtains do not cover the whole window and are very thin so guests wake up at dawn. The kettle leaked. The air conditioning did not work well enough to cool the room. It was also quite loud. Walking up the narrow road in the dark is not very nice. All the seats round the pool are in the shade.

Breakfast did not have a lot of options ,very basic and the staff at the reception did not really speake english very well ,which made difficult to communicate when we wanted to get some information.

Small property with natural wooden style in Miriisa,just few houndred meters away from the beach...basically walking one street down and you can find all the restaurants,bar, souvenirs etc..loved the pool view and the sounds of the nature
