It’s a very peaceful and quite place, Zen vibe You can walk 10-15 minutes to get to the beach. The staff he is very nice and helpful will help you with anything. It’s not a very social hostel but you definitely will find a good companion to wonder around with.

kitchen was quite messy and unorganised for the first couple of nights that I was there and staff member that was there for the first couple of nights never provided enough toilet paper for a room of 6 (even when I requested more), which meant that I had to keep getting more from them each morning. However, a different staff member arrived towards the end of my stay, who cleaned the kitchen and organised things to make the stay a lot more comfortable.

Beautiful house, small with only two rooms, cute little outdoor area, very calm and relaxing. The ocean is nearby. As I only stayed one night, I didn’t go there. If you have a scooter or TukTuk you can park inside. Staff is very friendly!!

It was in the middle of nowhere, we had to wait up to 15 minutes for a pick me to accept. Although the owner was very helpful. He even got us a new tooth brush from one of the neighbours at 10pm.

The hostel was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was clean and very easy to meet people. We had a lot of fun cooking.

The location is a bit in the middle of nowhere. There is no visible sign, so a little struggle to find.

It is a little bit outside of the city, can be a pro if you want some rest. Can be a con if you want to go out for dinner and lunches. But the tuktuks are cheap. So not really a big issue for me.

Very clean, quiet location and lovely staff who can help you anyway. Has nice kitchen facilities for cooking and only 2 dorm rooms so never overcrowded. Befriend a local so you can get tuk tuk easy, pick me often cancel for this area.

Location was a bit far out but that can’t be helped, although the social areas are really nice so if you want somewhere to chill at the end of your trip this is the perfect place.

Really beautiful hostel and super clean! It’s tucked away from the town but nice to be in a quiet and peaceful spot, and is an easy tuk tuk ride to Unawatuna and Galle. The owner is super lovely and happy to help out!

Not central... bit of a drive to the beach, but we had a vehicle.
