The Cabanas are pretty small, perfect for two people max. There isn't a bar so if you want to drink a beer or any soft drinks you need to go somewhere else.

Not the owners fault at all but the dogs next door barked incessantly at 2am every morning.

Cabanas as depicted in photographs, well air conditioned and easy walk to the beach and food options. Host provided good recommendations for local bottle shops, food options. The ability to utilise a communal fridge at the location was great to keep drinks cool. Wifi works well, plenty of space.

A perfect wooden cottage stay with family. The property with cozy cottage and beach at walk able distance. Note: Don’t expect food here as they don’t have kitchen but around there are lots of restaurants and inhouse food joints who serve good food at very reasonable rate and will recommend them. The property is very small, well maintained and value for money. Will definitely recommend this property .

Good budget friendly option. Contact with the manager via WhatsApp and call in good English, the super friendly caretaking lady spoke enough to understand each other. Everything is a bit makeshift and rustic, the road to the property is not asphalted but the cabana offers everything you’d need for a short stay. The beach and plenty of nice restaurant options are close by, the beach is also quite nice, apparently we had luck and the sea was calm enough for a swim. Recommended for a short stay on a budget!

Me and my friend loved our stay at Silaa Cabana. From the moment we walked on the property, we did not want to leave anymore. The Cabana's are super sweet and Neville (the owner) is very attentive. We would definitely recommend to stay there in Trinco!

The mattress was to soft. Other guests left the gate open. Close the gate behind you otherwise you will be bothered by stray dogs.

Very nice little cabana. With airco, Nice bathroom and outside seating area. Nice little garden. The owner was not there but we good contact by what’s app. Every question was swiftly answered. Location is very central and also quiet.

Very cool place, the cabanas are very well equipped with aircon, kettle, fridge and hot showers. They have plenty of room and proper mattresses with quality sheets etc so very comfortable and outside each one is a seating area. They are located a few hundred metres from the beach in a very interesting area. Half the properties are similar holiday based and the others are residential giving it a true Sri Lankan vibe. The town was very quiet during of visit as it the off season (peak is April-Oct) so many hotels and restaurants are closed but there are sufficient open to enjoy.

Great budget cabana style accomodation one lane back and five minutes stroll from the beach and the main restaurant area. Recently renovated with clean facilities and aircon hot water and fan. Small seating area out the front, or use the tables in the kitchen area. Nice large banana pancakes, juice and fresh fruit for breakfast. Friendly helpful staff available to speak to or message throughout the day.

Pickme drivers had difficulty finding the property. The cabanas are constructed from poor quality timber planks resulting in a significant gap at the bottom of my cabana door due to warped timber. Water heater not working - not a serious problem with 30+ temperatures. The owner said he would get it fixed.

Silaa Cabana is just as gorgeous as the photos! Our cabana came equipped with air con, mosquito nets, a mini fridge and a super comfy king size bed. Neville and his team were really accommodating and also make great banana pancakes! They’re only a 2 minute walk from the beach and an exciting hub of cafes, bars and restaurants so really convenient. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Trinco.

There are some neighborhood dogs, who were quite loud during the night. But nothing a few ear plugs could not fix :)

Neville was super helpful. He was very flexible, easy to reach and supported with any question we had. He also arranged a trip to Pigeon Island for us on a very affordable price.

I booked the Silaa Cabana for one day at the last minute with my five-years old daughter But finally we spent 4 days here. Silani and Neville are very friendly and always there for your every need. Very nice and very clean cabana. Don't forget to taste the banana pancakes that Silaa makes for breakfast. As well don't forget to try the chicken biriyani made by Silaa. The best place we stayed in Sri Lanka
