Everything was fantastic

It was super clean, lovely showers, very comfortable beds, delicious breakfast and bonus of a fabulous view. The staff were very friendly we accidentally had booked wrong date for Roys Villa next door and then put us straight in, lovely pool too with beds and special swimming towels

1. The access road is a rough, bumpy, mud track. Shakes you up getting to the place. 2. The Hotel is about a half hour away from the Minneriya Safari Entrance Gate. 3. The Hotel does not have a Spa. 4. I had problems paying USD with credit cards. The hotel machine rejected both my cards. Payment in LKR was accepted. However, my Colombo Hotel's card machine accepted $ payments via both cards so there is a problem with the Sigiriyaya hotel's card reader. This could cause avoidable embarrassment to a guest.

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Sigiriyaaya, and I highly recommend it. The location offers stunning views of Sigiriya Rock, and the hotel is beautifully designed with spacious, clean rooms. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. A special thanks to Roy’s Villa for recommending this hotel. By staying at Sigiriyaaya, we were able to join all activities organized by Roy’s Villa, including guided tours and safaris. Their seamless coordination made everything stress-free and enjoyable. Overall, the perfect blend of comfort, location, and service. 10/10

They need to improve there dining service, dinner food took longer to make, so does the breakfast even we requested at 7.30am, but food came at 8.20am, so if they can improve that time and taste of food, definitely 10/10.

I think the food was not worth the money. So we only ordered dinner on the first day. Also, we ordered two mango juice and one watermelon. It was not up to standard.

Just be aware that the property is a little outside of town … but cafe’s and the rocks are only a tuk tuk ride away! :)

The hotel just opened and is completely new, clean and modern. The staff is so kind and the service top class. We loved our stay there. The pool is beautiful and from the room you have a view on the ricefields. Probably the Best accomodation we had in our Sri Lanka trip. If you want to participate in Roys Villas activities the location is amazing!

Service could have been far better, especially since Jetwing bought this hotel months ago. Our room was not cleaned the first day but they cleaned our mum’s room. The next day I asked for ours to be cleaned, they cleaned the room but did not replace the used bath towels or refill the filter water or empty the bathroom bin. The next day the bathroom bin still hadn’t been emptied. The manager (Manoj) was very professional and attentive, he got stuck in with his staff cleaning tables etc.

It’s a relatively new hotel so the decor and facilities were 4/5 star. The pool was the best part. View from the balcony across the rice fields is serene. Gihan on the front desk was the stand out staff member for me, very attentive and requests got actioned.

Although this hotel is fairly new, there seem to be a lack of attention to detail specially in maintenance!

We had a nice stay at Hotel Sigiriyaaya, the staff couldn't be more helpful and the food was yummy. We enjoyed the pool and the views over the rice fields. Size of the room was good, and they provided everything we needed.

Horrible experience—incorrect location and phone number provided, which led to confusion. Only Visa cards were accepted, and the room wasn’t ready upon arrival.

Restaurant wait times are too long. One night we waited over an hour for our dinner to arrive. There is also a lack of communication and you have to chase the staff a couple of times to get an answer which made it difficult to arrange taxis and any activities. Due to heavy rainfall one night, water had leaked through the ceiling creating a pool of water in our room. Although this was inconvenient, the staff sorted the issue pretty quickly.

Clean, comfortable and good value for money. The room was spacious with a nice balcony. The swimming pool was well maintained.
