Moth balls everywhere in the room and bathroom leaving a very strong smell, not nice ! Breakfast average. On the expensive side against what you get.

Nice and intimate. Really nice owner. Location 5mn away from sigiriya. Pool has a good size and in the center of the property surrounded by the 3 houses. Our house with the family room on 1st floor with a nice balcony feels like a ski chalet. Good family owned restaurant 5mn walking distance.

This was good, honest accommodation in what is obviously a very poor area off Sri Lanka. The staff were great and extremely accommodating & friendly. The location was great for exploring the area and visiting Minneriya national park. Lovely pool to cool off in and the breakfast was fab. The accommodation is quirky but it is fun, well built and you feel very welcome

The location about a mile from the Lion rock entrance. Bfast was bountiful and excellent. Pool was very pleasant. And Nirosh, the manager, is very helpful and smart man. Really good bargain

Nothing, everything was perfect.

This is a perfect place! They have clean nice rooms and a nice area outside. You can see monkeys in the garden and the pool is great. The staff is sooo nice and the owner is planning and arranging all you tours! Breakfast is great - you just tell then the time you want the breakfast and they will prepare a big tasty breakfast.

A bit far out of town, either a 30min walk or tuk tuk. Would be nice to have mosquito nets and also fitted sheets on the beds, there were only flat sheets that didn't completely cover the mattress.

Quiet location with nicely decorated rooms, a lot of natural decor and wood, and a lovely balcony and pool. We stayed in the villa and the single room at the top was too warm, we had to move the mattress onto the floor of the twin room for one of the kids. Staff were friendly, even though they had very little English, and arranged tuk tuks and taxis when needed. Breakfast was good and plentiful, but would have liked more fruit.

Location is just 10 minutes away from the Sigiriya rock. Rooms were clean . Staff was helpful . My family enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. Host was very helpful in providing a vegetarian breakfast as requested.

We had an amazing stay at this accommodation! The place was exactly as described. The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help. His hospitality really made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

The garden and surrounding area can get a bit more attention. Would be nice to have a minibar in the bigger rooms. Bathroom can be much better and ay more modern.

We rented the room villa on top. Very comfortable and a nice pool. But the highlight of this place is Lalith the main person in charge of food and the place. Amazing guy who says no to nothing. The food he makes is also super good and tasty.

There was nothing not to like, but it would have been good if the beds had mosquito nets. (Though there weren't many mosquitoes around or in the apartment).

Great location. Very relaxing and peaceful. We rented some bikes from a place 3 mins walk away on the main road and had a great time exploring the area. The owner was very helpful and booked our onward travel arrangements. Lovely pool to cool off in. But the highlight was the building itself - very quirky log cabin vibes.

We were happy with our stay other than the missing blankets in cooler weather.

This home stay is great value. It’s by no means a posh space - it’s very basic but clean. We were there in the winter and they did not have blankets, but we did manage ok. The staff were extremely attentive and made a hot breakfast that was nutritious.

The room stinked, bathroom even more (strong sewer smell). Room was clean but one sheet had a blood stain. Wifi was awful and the staff didn’t speak any English

The pool was nice and cooling, nice area around. The main house looks nice (unfortunately we didn’t stay there). Okay breakfast.

The bathroom was not so clean, lots of fungus and dirt. The tap is not fixed to the sink. The tables and other furniture could have been dusted. The wooden floor is cracking a lot, we didn’t hear much of footsteps but I can imagine the people below us could.

We had a very lovely stay. The location is beautiful and the pool is a nice extra. Around the property are a lot of restaurants but the breakfast at the resort(especially the egg hoppers) is great. Breakfast on top of the balcony in the morning was great. Although the staff cannot speak very good English, they were very helpful and did everything we requested.

My sister and I had an amazing stay here and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The highlight of our visit was definitely the owner, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. We had many great conversations with him and truly appreciated his warmth and hospitality. He made us feel right at home, and we are so grateful for everything he did to make our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this place to everyone and will definitely come back if we have the chance!
