High humidity in the room which caused mould in bathroom - it’s common for Sri Lanka but need to be fixed 🙏🏻

View from the balcony was amazing. Some morning monkeys came to the balcony what was nice) Location is very comfortable, - the house is just within walking distance from the city centre. The place have a beautiful flower’s garden.

Place was overbooked, but we got a room in the owners house instead. Still, it should be communicated in advance.

Cleanliness, owner was nice, let us use the kitchen.

There is no option for lunch and dinner. The restaurants are quiet far from the property. Breakfast can be ordered, which was average. Wifi is only available in the sitting area which cannot be accessed all time.

Perfect cottage with amazing view to Nuvara Ella little bit away from town. Viewing sunrise from the balcony on the top floor just unforgettable. Breakfast - but not lunch and dinner - available. Friendly hosts. 15 min by foot town with shops, restaurants etc. Recommend

Seemed to be overcharged on currency conversion for room, but still good value.

View, clean, comfy, table and kettle, balcony, hot water, lovely bed with duvet and blankets. Outside of town so quiet, but close enough for short TukTuk or even walk as we did.

The room had kettle that was not working and the plug points were not working mostly and I had to find a workaround to charge my electrnonics

View was lovely, great sunrise and sunset views. You are able to see stars on the night sky clearly which is amazing. The host is super nice and has great advices and tips. The place is overall super calm and cozy

We had a wonderful stay at Sherwood Cottage. The view from the cottage was absolutely breathtaking, making it a peaceful and relaxing retreat in Nuwara Eliya. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was kept clean and tidy. The pricing is very reasonable compared to other options in the area, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. If you’re looking for an affordable stay with great views and a cozy atmosphere, Sherwood Cottage is a fantastic choice!

Beautiful views! Lovely area of Nuwara eliya. Quite far away, but restaurants in the area deliver to the property and they have menus in the rooms. (Hot butter veg and cuttlefish was 10/10)
