We had a lovely 3 nights at Shan Mango Homestay. The hosts couldn't have been kinder, breakfasts were tasty and very generous and rooms spacious and clean. The pool was lovely to dip into after a day out. It's a gem in the jungle and thoroughly recommend it.

Bug and clean room, nice bathroom too. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The hosts were AMAZING, so kind and friendly. The food they prepared for us was so fabulous 👌 and the pool was super as well!! 100% recommend!!

We stayed for 4 nights at Shan Mango Homesray. It was great experience driven by the following plusses: spacious rooms, very very clean, perfect working showers, outstanding breakfast, nice swimming pool and maybe most important the friendlyness of the owners, who are very willing to make everything comfortable for their guests. Side notes: having dinner is basic but very very well prepared and more than enough. You will not go to bed with an empty stomach. We enjoyed it for two times. Location is a few minutes drive by tuktuk. For us perfect, because location was good, but just outside the tourustic center of sigirya. Everything arranged is against a very fair price. That I left!

Such a sweet home stay. The owners were lovely and looked after us. We had a big comfortable room, clean and quiet. The garden and pool is an oasis, peaceful. Breakfast was good and we did order an evening meal the first night, it was a huge portion for one person. Delicious. They also called Tuk tuks if you need them and they were very reasonably priced.

Everything was perfect.

The property was in the heart of the jungle and based in a great location, only a short Tuk Tuk ride to any shops and restaurants. They took time out of their day to give us a short tour of their beautiful garden, where they grow they own fruits (we even got to try some!). The family are fantastic and really looked after us, they booked a tour and cooking class for myself and my Dad which we really enjoyed and highly recommend. Our next stop was Kandy and they arranged a taxi for us too. I’ve been travelling for 6 months now and I can honestly say this was one of the best places I’ve stayed. I would definitely book another stay on my next visit to Sri Lanka :)

We had a wonderful stay at Shan Mango – peaceful, super clean, and full of charm. Our hosts, Sugath and Chulani, were incredibly kind and helpful. They welcomed us warmly with a glass of fresh papaya juice and a big smile. Sugath arranged everything we needed – a great safari experience, a lovely local tuk-tuk tour, and a very comfortable taxi to Kandy. All the drivers were polite, punctual, and shared useful insights with us during the rides. The swimming pool was clean and relaxing, surrounded by mango and banana trees filled with adorable little animals and singing squirrels playing around. Such a magical and calming vibe. Breakfasts were delicious and very generous. We had to leave early in the mornings, and they made sure we had our breakfast ready even before regular hours. Overall, everything was perfect. A little piece of our heart stayed at Shan Mango. We truly recommend this place – it’s not just accommodation, it’s an experience you’ll always remember. ❤️

The staff were so nice and very helpful. The place was really nice, with lovely big rooms and great garden area with a nice pool. It was very peaceful and quiet but still easy to get around with a tuk tuk. The food was also great, especially the huge breakfasts.

It was a perfect place for our stay near Sigiria. It was peaceful and having the pool there for the day was great. The hosts were so friendly and always helped us with organising tuk tuks for us and cooking us the best dinnner and breakfast!

We had a fantastic stay at Shan Mango. We had the two double bedrooms and stayed for 5 nights. The bedrooms were spacious and clean. The pool was great and set in a beautiful garden. The food (breakfast and lunch/dinner) was home-made and excellent - have the (very good value!) curry! We really appreciated the quiet location, but it was still easy to get to the sights. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming.

Where to start the whole place is perfect the couple running the b&b couldn’t have been more kind they work very hard to make the stay so comfortable. The food was amazing highly recommend the rice and curry. Rooms had everything you need and the pool was a very welcome bonus

The house who's little bit outside of the city is in the middle of the nature, the pool is a real + in this region and because there is not a lot of guest you can enjoy it for yourself The breakfast is delicious and massive (you don't need to eat at 12pm after that) The room is confortable and clean and the bathroom is modern and efficient The host are discreet and helpful

We loved our hosts, Chulani and Sugath, they were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The pool was very refreshing and peaceful, and it was wonderful to be surrounded by a beautiful garden, with butterflies, peacocks and squirrels, entertaining us, accompanied by birdsong. If you need anything arranged at all, the hosts will sort it for you. Our highlight was the elephant safari. Also we had the Sri Lankan home cooked curry one evening and it was delicious. The bed was comfortable and the shower powerful, much needed after the day’s heat! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

A little bit away from other restaurants/main part of town, but peaceful.

Comfortable little guesthouse with a nice garden for sitting outside. Lots of fireflies at night! Breakfast was great. Shower was fantastic! Tons of water pressure and flow and hot!
