Very nice resort with super friendly staff. Our son loved the pool, the garden is very relaxing. Breakfast was great, too, we can only recommend staying there!

The place would benefit from updating but wouldn't stop me from returning!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. We had the sri lankan curry on the second night there and it was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and generous size The breakfast was very plentiful and very good. The swimming pool is fantastic in a lovely tropical garden.. Truly great place to stay and value for money.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sayara Holiday Resort! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great beds and nice shower. The pool is very nice also: big, clean and layed in a beautiful garden. The breakfast included is plenty and tasteful. We had dinner at Saraya Holiday Resort twice and it was super! Aspeacialy the deviled chicken is super yummy! All the people working at Sayara Holiday Resort where very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Loved the location, the pool, the staff 10/10! They assisted us to go on a safari to Kuadulla National Park where we saw 94 elephants 🐘 , we’re beyond happy!!!! Breakfast was excellent!

I loved everything 🙂 the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, they treat you like family. They prepared amazing breakfast and dinner, always asking my preferences. They also arranged for a tuk tuk tour to the ruins and the driver was very kind. The facilities are beautiful, quiet, clean, and very comfortable. I want to come back!!!!!!

The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom, the door was short so if you are tall, watch your head. The shower wasn’t the best, and I couldn’t make the warm water work, which is mostly fine due to the hot weather, but would have been nice on one of the days. It isn’t the most modern and perfect but altogether it was still fine :)

Gorgeous hotel very close to Polonnaruwa Ancient City and the perfect place to stay after a sunny day of exploring. The pool is very relaxing and the garden is full of beautiful plants (and some visiting animals like birds and lizards :) ) the staff is super kind, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is great and I had chicken kottu for dinner here which was huge and very tasty. We also had the best juices here :) Bed is comfortable and the room is big, even has a vanity table which was pretty nice. Balcony is also big, with a clothing rack to dry your swimwear a d towel.

Nothing really.

All the staff were incredibly helpful. Lovely family run place. Nice rooms and pool and luxurious seating area. Ate there second night and food excellent. They organised bike hire and sorted onward van to Trinco. Good value too. I highly recommend this excellent place.

Nothing really, it was a little out of town but they ordered tuk tuks and bicycles so that was easily overcome at a good price. .

Nice and quiet stay at Seyara Resort, with very friendly staff and good service. Delicious sri lankan food, but also various dishes on the menu. Huge breakfast! Our room vas clean, fan and A/C, and a private terrace to enjoy the birds in the morning. Resort being away from the main road, it's very quiet and green. Enjoyed the swimming pool too. Thank you to Seyara's family!

It's not the most modern or prettiest place, but they are all switched on and try to make the stay as pleasant as possible

It is an excellently managed budget choice. We had a family room, spacious and clean. Good AC. A bit dated, but that's ok for the price. Pleasant pool, excellent staff

Cleanliness and maintenance were ok, but could be improved.

A very nice welcome by the owner and his team. They arranged everything for us (Safari, bicycle), gave us maps and cooked a delicious curry meal for us. We enjoyed the refreshing and clean swimming-pool.

Very friendly staff, they help with everything. The owner provided us with a little map to explore the ancient city, which was really helpful. The location is also great.

Some of the decor needed a bit of love and attention but really this was superficial and didn’t affect our enjoyment of our stay.

Welcoming entrance, lovely gardens and pool. Even a carp pond. Room was spacious and clean, comfortable bed. Decor a bit 1980s but food incredible, really delicious genuine Sri Lankan dishes with Western options if you wanted. Egg Hopper and coconut sambol for breakfast yummmm!! Each dish was described and home cooked. Host and all staff helped with directions, bicycles, haircut, washing, taxis. Would recommend highly! Pool was fantastic after a hot day cycling around the ruins.

Very good value for money! The room was large and comfortable and the swimming pool was very good for relaxing. The location of the hotel is very quiet. The staff is super nice and helpful. Very tasty food (we had breakfast and dinner), there is also possibility to order food and drinks. It was also no problem to put our bikes in the room. Highly recommended!

All.ok for us

Easy to find frindly place booked 3 rooms to stay over ,they have all the facilities to fulfil our need including driver accommodation(driver accommodation not that comfortable so they offer me a room for him Rs 2500 ),also nice pool which we havent used.
