We had a good stay at Sevana City Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they made an effort to accommodate individual requests. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool area is nice, very clean — a good spot to relax. The restaurant also serves good food, and the staff there is exceptionally kind and welcoming. Just a small tip: try to avoid the windowless interior rooms. Overall, a pleasant experience and a solid choice in Kandy!

Spacious room, we could easily sleep with our family of 4 in the deluxe twin room, the room had a small seating area as well. Location fantastic, walking distance from city highlights and station. The roof pool was a nice plus, small but good to cool down. We did not use the restaurant. Overall very good value for money hotel.

The pool and deck needs a refresh and food needs more seasoning and flavouring.

We stayed for two nights which was perfect, the location and staff were fantastic and it was probably the best shower have had during our travels. The room was big which was a plus!

Budget room is small and dark, window faces the internal corridor. Very noisy and dirt street.

The air con started leaking after a few hours so had to be turned off. You can’t use the balcony to sit on/smoke. Some city noise but not too bad. No TV. Pool could be cleaner but was fine.

Good sized room. Hotel close to the train station and all the main sights/ attractions. Air con worked well. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the rooftop restaurant- which was of a high quality. Staff were welcoming, and arranged tickets for the Kandy Cultural show.

Construction work directly below so quite noisy in the morning . Guy at hotel organized a car for us to ella.price given. miscomunication from him to driver meant we were going to be let off at nurwara Elia, and had to end up paying 9000 rupees more for trip. Driver friendly but dodgy driver AF, got fined by police on way to ella. Just a misunderstanding but stressful at the time.

Clean pool but tiny, rooms basic but very clean, we booked with no AC but had good fan, staff member on reception was very lovely and catered for all our needs, exceptionally good sri Lankan breakfast(at extra cost).

Very nive Hotel (had one of the renovated King rooms), very spacious, comfy bed, nice view. Location is great and just 10 minutes with a tuktuk from the station.

A bit of mold in the bathroom, hard to tackle has Sri Lanka is so humid... and the pool could be a bit bigger, is hard to go if there are more than 5 people on the area... you have no place to put your stuff. But oh well, for the price we couldn't ask for much more...

The property & rooms were all a bit worn compared to the pictures, but we didn’t think that matter - it was still nice & clean with everything we needed & a large room.

Helpful staff, we paid $10 to upgrade to a room with aircon. Central location, lots of places to eat nearby & easy for train station.

My daughter got bitten by bugs in the bed which I suspected was fleas.. I mentioned it to the manager when I checked out but didn't really get an apology which would have been appreciated. Otherwise the staff were nice at the restaurant. I think the pictures make the hotel look a little better that what it is.
