It was exceptionally clean, in a great location, with delicious breakfast everyday. The family who run it are so kind, warm and welcoming and accommodating. The New Year’s tea & treats was a wonderful surprise. Highly recommend this accommodation to others.

Really good location, in a quiet street, 5minutes to beach, 10minutes to harbor for whales watching trips. The owner was so kind to us, she prepared us late breakfast, let us keep in our backpacks until late afternoon and arranged a tuk tuk for a good price. Thanks so much! I would be happy to stay again.

We only stayed a night so it didn't bother us but simple instructions on how to use the shower would be helpful as there were two showers in the bathroom and we didn't know how to work the good one. The bed is central in the room so you don't have a bedside table but again, for one night this wasn't a big issue. Of note we had to pay cash which we were not expecting as we have paid card in most other places.

Really good value for money. The air con worked very well and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty (eggs, muffin, fruit). The location was great- really close to all of the nice beach bars and restaurants but far enough away that we got sleep. The balcony overlooking the jungle was a bonus. The host was very pleasant. We would have gladly stayed longer.

We had an amazing holiday thanks to Liddica and Sumith. We were made very welcome, accommodation was very nice and clean. Air conditioning and mosquito net fabulous. Wifi was excellent. Balcony with lovely views, breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The rooms are quite narrow for the double beds.

The place is managed by a very nice family . The house was central and close to the beach but still a little retracted in some green garden properties. The breakfirst was very nice.

The location was great. Close walk to the secret beach, whale watching, turtle bay and great restaurants. The host was amazing, couldn’t be more flexible with check in check out. Breakfast was exceptional with a lovely view into the Forrest, we sat and enjoyed watching squirrels, peacocks and parrots in the trees each morning. Price was extremely reasonable for such a clean and comfortable room with AC. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Everything about the property and owners was great. Only thing to note is if you are coming back at night, it is located down an unlit driveway surrounded by trees so bring a torch!

Sethun house is a gem of a guesthouse. It's situated in a peaceful setting and the rooms are immaculate. Breakfast was delicious and eating it on the little balcony each morning was a lovely start to the day.

Perfect, friendly and responsive host and family. Delicious breakfast on the balcony, different each day. Great location, a few minutes walk from the beach and the town. Air conditioning worked well and cupboard lockable for valuables. Mosquito net worked well. Cold shower with additional shower for hot water.

Perfectly located within walking distance of everything yet on a quiet side street. Owner is super friendly and very helpful. It gets very humid but room has a functional AC even though it's a bit old.

This was our third stay at Sethun house. It is situated on a quiet road within a few mins walk to the beach or town centre. Great location.This is run by a lovely, very welcoming family. Comfortable bed; hot shower; fridge outside the room and 2 balconies to use in the room we stayed in. Very nice breakfasts too..excellent value for money. We would recommend it and will hopefully stay again.

The woman running this property and her children were super sweet and made us feel welcome. Great location on quiet side street, but only short walks to main commerce area and beaches of Mirissa. Breakfast included was delicious.

We stayed 3 nigthts and loved it! Really comfy family room, spotlessly clean, plenty of space. There was good aircon, mosquito nets, and fan and a well functioning fridge too. All the facilities were brilliant. breakfast overlooking the green trees, on the balcony was delicious. The family were all very warm and welcoming and helped us with everything. It's also very close to the local Dagoba. Also should say it's 5 minutes walk from the beach! we would highly recommend Sethun House!
