We had a lovely stay. The hosts greeted us with hot tea with was very welcome in the cold of Newura Eliya. We had a delicious dinner in the homestay on our first night.it is also possible to book tours through the homestay as the husband is a guide. Extra blankets were offered also as it can get cold in Newura Eliya. The breakfast each morning was an absolute feast. I would recommend.

Because they only started the business 5 months ago, and quite budget tight, so there isn't an air con in the room. But the owner provided a warm and big blanket which was very nice

It's in a tea plantation area, 5 mins walking distance to the hills and you get to see the most breathtaking views. Also the owner is very welcoming and friendly. Made some local breakfast for me without any charges. Would highly recommend anyone to stay!

Very nice place to stay, a little outside the busy centre. Dinner and breakfast were amazing! The hosts are super nice! Would recommend this place. Very good bed, they provided us with an extra blankets since it was very cold while we were there.

We had a fantastic stay. It exceeded our expectations! The accommodation is located just a short distance from the tea plantations and the lake. However, it is in a quiet neighborhood. The rooms are very clean, bright, and spacious. There is plenty of storage space, and the beds are very comfortable. The hosts are very friendly. We had a wonderful tour of the tea plantations in the morning and visited the tea factory in the afternoon with the host. The breakfast and dinner were amazing! Also we were offered tea the whole day, whenever needed. You could start the day feeling very satisfied :) We would recommend it to everyone!

Very kind and welcoming hosts. Soothing cup of tea on arrival. Convenient location next to main road. Spacious room with hot water in the shower. We also had dinner, and it was plentiful and tasty. Great value for the price.

The location was a bit far out of town so if you don't have your own vehicle or are traveling solo it will increase your costs to get back and forth.

Very honest and hospitable owners. They can organize transportation, excursions or give suggestions. This is a private house, not in city center, but it gives you local atmosphere and very easy to go by local bus to or from center. It takes 10 min and costs close to nothing. Very delicious breakfast and dinner, if you ask for that.

The floor was cold... but not a real problem.

The people were verry verry nice. And helpfull. The food was real SL, so good. The building was brand new so 8 months in use, so here and there it needs the finishing touch. It was cold when we were there, but they provide us with a heather. Great. The beds were great and we had a nice vieuw.
