We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

BelgiumIt was quite a walk from the center and very steep to get to the house with luggage. There is also no sound isolation, but that doesn't have to be a problem if you book the two rooms.
Such a beautiful location!! What a view. And so so quiet. We could hear the birds and the crickets. Lovely!

United KingdomPradeep was one of the my best hosts in Sri Lanka. He really went above and beyond. Firstly, he offered to pick me up from Ella. He showed me his brilliant hand drawn map of the area, which helped me to make the best of my time in Ella. Dushan, his tuk-tuk driver was very helpful. On the morning I had to leave, I needed to visit the hospital because I had a skin infection. Pradeep arranged Dushan to take me to Badulla private hospital, to wait with me and drop me off at the bus station to my Mahinangaye bus. I felt so grateful, that I had my host support with me in a difficult time. I loved Serene Cottage, because the hill view from my balcony was beautiful. The area was peaceful and seren, faithful to its name.

RussiaIf you don't drive a scooter, maybe it would be difficult to get this place from the center of Ella.
I like this place and highly recommend staying here at least for 1 night. If you want silence, this is a great choice. You will be surrounded by sounds of nature and mountains.

I recently stayed at Serene cottage Ella and was thoroughly impressed with their service, room and the delicious foods. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the washroom was well maintained and clean. Serene's mouthwatering 😋 foods are must-try for anyone visiting.
