Beautiful view, nice room, super host(s) Selyna and Ollie. We recommend a lot !

No signage so difficult to find. Using hotel Topaz as your guide helps greatly

Selena could not be more helpful. She organised a tuk tuk driver to give me a tour around Kandy. Ratna was a great guide even stopping at places not on the tour as he knew I took lots of photos. I definitely recommend him. The breakfasts were superb, delicious and Selena took my preferences into account. My room was comfortable, air conditioned, great hot shower and had plenty of space. There is a sitting room to relax. Selena always checked that I had everything I needed and kept me well supplied with water. The accommodation is up a steep hill. Tuk tuk drivers will charge around 600 from the lake's edge to go up the hill. They have no problem going up despite what they might say. I used Hotel Topaz to give them a ptoper direction. Going downhill is ok but some people may prefer tuk tuk down as there is no pavement. The view more tham makes up for the hill. It is definitely a wonderful view.

Selyna is a charming lady who is very supportive. Room was clean, nice hot shower and breakfast with beautiful view. Dog was super friendly and always welcomed us as well.

Everything was perfect - we cannot think of any improvement that can be done.

Hosts were wonderful, going out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Breakfast was exceptional, in a very nice patio with incredible views. Room was very comfortable. Good value for money.

Selyna was very polite, sincere and helpfull. Even her dog is joyful. We absolutely fell in love with the view from our room. The breakfast was very good if not the best breakfast i have ever had in a booking stay. Cant recommend enough.

Nothing not to like. Just be aware that the property is up a large hill in a quiet residential area. If you don’t have a car/driver, get a tuk tuk.

Selyna is a lovely, warm and engaging host, who quickly made us comfortable. Comfortable room, and a large modern bathroom. All very clean. Good air-conditioning. Selyna made us a very good breakfast, which we enjoyed on the terrace with a beautiful view.

Not a problem, just something to note - Kandy is very hilly, and it's a steep steep journey to get up to the property. Quite a thrilling tuktuk ride for anyone not used to it lol.

Everything about this property was perfect - the host Selyna was unbelievably kind, she upgraded us to the best room after a last minute cancellation and wow the room was incredible! The view was 10/10, sitting on the balcony in the evening and then again at breakfast felt like stepping into paradise, with the opportunity to sit in nature and observe all sorts of birds and squirrels! The room itself was large, stunning, super clean and comfortable with great facilities and strong aircon. The breakfast provided by Selyna was delicious, and to top it off we were accompanied by her lovely friendly dog Ollie! Sadly we only stayed the one night here but would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to switch off and enjoy the beautiful scenery Kandy has to offer!

We loved everything!

The owner of the place is super hospitable. They have a super lovely dog (Spaniel) who greated us well all the time. The room was tight, but perfectly enough for a night. The breakfast was one of the BEST we had in Sri Lanka over the two weeks. Selyna prepared us homemade breakfast. The view from the terrace of the accommodation is spectacular!

Amazing view over Kandy, super comfy room and bed. But what truly makes this place stand out is Selyna; incredibly helpful with great tips about Kandy and our train journey. We feel so lucky to have met her on our Sri Lanka trip. And Olly, her sweet dog, made everything even more special. If you’re coming to Kandy, don’t think twice, stay here!

The only heads up is you have to pay in cash so make sure you take out enough cash to pay at the end of your stay. I missed that in the reviews I read!

I spent forever looking for a place in Kandy but I'm SO glad we chose here. Take my advice and just book it. We did the apartment room which was super spacious. Selyna was so kind and attentive and her property was great. Felt like staying with friends! She gave amazing recommendations that we ended up using and we had the greatest overall time in Kandy! A quick walk to town, INCREDIBLE breakfast (some of the best breakfast across the whole trip), and the cutest property. We did a TukTuk driver for the day that she helped set up and it was iconic. Took us to tea plantations and a massive tower that was an hour outside town for a great price. Couldn't speak more highly about our experience here!

At Selyna’s we had our best stay in Sri Lanka and by far in many other countries. She made us feel at home and cared for, she is very sweet and we had nice conversations. Also her doggie Ollie makes it even better, always nice to come back after a long way out and play with him! Would recommend it to everyone.

We traveled with our little daughter, who really enjoyed it. The accommodation is cozy, with a beautiful view of the mountains in Kandy. You can enjoy this view even during breakfast, which is freshly prepared and very tasty by the owner, Selyna. It is definitely ideal for a family with children. The location is a 15-minute walk to the city. Selyna is wonderful, with a big heart and always willing to help and give advice. Our daughter especially fell in love with her dog, Oli. Thank you once again!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

We loved it! Selyna was such a lovely and friendly host, we’ve felt welcomed right since the beginning. And Ollie (the dog) was soooo cute. Even tho we only stayed for one night, we enjoyed it so much. And the breakfast with the view was amazing. The property is also pretty close to the center. It only took us about 20 minutes to walk there, which was super nice. We wished, we would’ve had more time. Thanks for everything!

I had a great time staying at Selyna’s place. It feels like home and the view outside of the house is stunning. Selyna took care of me as a guest and I really appreciate that.
