The attic room is quite noisy when very windy.

Thilak was outstanding as a host. Very kind, informative and funny - a really nice guy. Thilak was very quick to sort out my wife's broken phone charging lead. The view from the hotel was stunning. Super breakfast. We had western breakfast one day and then a terrific Sri Lankan breakfast the next day.

It was a bit chilly when we were there and we could have done without the cold shower and lack of hairdryer in the room! While very scenic, the location was a bit out of the way from the main part of town and up a very steep hill, so not the most convenient.

The staff here were really friendly and we enjoyed a warm welcome with the delicious black tea and biscuits others have mentioned, along with interesting conversations throughout. We chose this accommodation for the views and they did not disappoint - the clouds tended to roll in around lunchtime, so worth getting up early to enjoy the breakfast and make the most of the day. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable with a small lounge area in the picture window. Staff were helpful recommending sightseeing options, organising taxis and restaurant suggestions... we really enjoyed their local Indian restaurant that seemed full of their guests! (Take a torch for the walk home.)

I wasnt prepared for the steep climb every single time.

The property is quite up and hence you get a great view. Despite the steep climb, most tuk tuk takes you to city centre at 700-750 LKR.

Nuwala eliya is quite cold and humid. So prepare for this cold and humid feelings in bed. We were there early May two days no rain. However this is any where in nuwala eliya not only this hotel. The good thing of this hotel is that its local on the hills with big Windows and getting sun light.

View and breakfast. The view is really breath taking. We enjoyed the the terrace and the garden, especially my kids. Wifi is great. The room is clean and the beds are comfortable and large. Breakfast is great with fruits, juice and local yogurt.

A beautiful view from lounge, dining area. The double room off this area unfortunately is near a neighbours water pump which kept us awake all night. After speaking to staff we were shifted to another room where it was not so loud. Would recommend, but don't stay in double room off lounge area unless you are a good sleeper. Everything else is excellent. Staff are great.

We just spend the night here to get the train the morning after, but the guy who was managing the place was very friendly and available. He also prepared the breakfast for us two hours in advance because our train was early.

Location is very good. I front of the Gregory lake. They provided us English breakfast and it was very good. They are flexible of breakfast, we can get what we want.

Water pressure in the bathroom was very slow which took a lot of time to shower for the entire fly, side lamp was faulty. Lighting in the room could be better was below average
