Location is not the best one, but with tuk tuk you can get anywhere in few minutes.

Big rooms, new furniture, very cozy and comfortable, clean, big terrace with direct access to pool, great breakfast, minibar with free drinks, very nice staff, well managed hotel.

The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and wonderfully decorated. Very cute. Bed was very comfortable. Enough sunbeds for everyone. Pool was nice and clean. Breakfast was okay. One day there was Sri Lankan breakfast which was amazing and way better than what they normally offer. There are huge gaps under the room door and between the balcony doors, which make it easy for insects, including cockroaches to enter the room.

My stay at Sea Star Boutique Hotel was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Their hospitality made me feel at home, and they always went the extra mile to ensure I had everything I needed. A special mention goes to the manager, Asela, who is exceptionally professional, kind, and highly efficient. His dedication to providing top-notch service is truly commendable, and he ensures that everything in the hotel runs smoothly. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests make a huge difference. The hotel itself is clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it an ideal place to unwind. The rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are excellent. Beautiful quiet boutique hotel in the middle of impressive beach and stunning ocean view. 1-2 kilometres with tuk-tuk from the restaurants area. Very kind and welcoming staff, amazing second floor rooms.

It’s an amazing place! Take your time in the beginning or at the end of your trip and enjoy this beautiful accommodation - rooms spacious, million dollar view, lovely employees. I think that’s so far one of the top accommodations I have ever had. Everything so clean, breakfast good, new building.

Best start to our family trip in Sri Lanka. First, the hotel atmosphere and views are amazing. An infinity pool puring into golden sanded beach with tall palm trees. The hotel staff really did above and beyond to help us in whatever we needed. Rooms are spacious and are beautifully decorated. Food is next level, fresh and tasty. If you want a 10/10 experience, this is the place.

The lock on the door was a little fidgety, but I am sure that was a user issue (me).

Beautiful and super clean and tidy resort. It was so peaceful and relaxing and a nice stroll into town along the beach. Easy enough to get a tuktuk on Uber or Pick Me if you're not up for the walk. Great place. I look forward to coming back. I don't think the photos do it justice!

We stayed 6 nights at this lovely hotel. There are only 6 rooms so it’s very peaceful. We had a room on the first floor with fabulous sea and beach views. All of the rooms have these views. The sunsets are amazing! The rooms, bathrooms and balconies are extremely spacious and very comfortable as well as spotlessly clean. The owner is Austrian which may account for the very high standards of fittings and no decor. The pool and gardens are lovely with plenty of du beds. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. It’s not it the town center but there are several beach restaurants within easy walking distance and it’s very easy and cheap to order a Tuk-Tuk via Uber, costing about €1,50 each way, to the town center. We very much recommend enjoyed our stay here and are quite certain that it is one of the nicest hotels in this area.
