The location is great. It is 2min walk to the beach. The staff is awesome. The owner is really chill and helps you book tours, do laundry, transfers, or any other stuff you might need. The room is spacious and the fan really works, we didn't use AC. The bathroom is huge and has shampoo, body wash and soap. A great value overall!

The location right next to the main beach entrance and restaurants also means there’s party’s right next door. Bring ear plugs if that bothers you. Also, despite the pictures, the guesthouse no longer provides breakfast. There are plenty good breakfast places right next door though so that’s not an issue. Small thing to be aware of; check when you book if you have booked a room with or without airco. I had not realized, but it is common practice in Sri Lanka to offer both opportunities ( whereby the same room without the airco is of course cheaper). We ended up having to pay 10 euro’s a night extra to get the airco remote ( totally worth it!) . Not a problem, just good to know.

The owners were very kind and helpful, organising different activities and transportation where necessary. We went whale and dolphin watching. The guest house is in the ideal location, a few minutes walk from the beach, with a number of restaurants and bars just opposite. They offer services like scooter rental at very good rates. We paid extra to have air conditioning in the room and it was certainly worth it.

After having stayed at a number of guest houses in Sri Lanka, this was not the best. It needs some general repair and better upkeep. They have a wonderful garden space out front which could be better kept and the rooms themselves lacked basic amenities such as soap.

Noise from beach parties at night. When we arrived, the host had removed the A/C remote and asked for an extra fee; after we refused, he offered it to us for free the next day.

This is a nice place to stay for shorter but also longer stays as there’s a kitchen and fridge. The rooms are comfortable with A/C and were very clean. Very close access to the beach and many restaurants. The family who owns the property were also very nice and helpful.

Unfortunately the house is located next to a restaurant that plays loud music in the evening - this is not their fault but we recommend bringing earplugs. There were also quite a few (harmless) animals in our bathroom which was not uncommon during our trip to Sri Lanka but the bathroom window could have been better secured as well as patching some gaps in the wall.

We had good stay at Breez Guesthouse. It’s run by a lovely couple, always friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse is located just 50 meters from the beach and offers comfortable rooms, a spacious bathroom, and a beautiful garden filled with plants and trees , a little slice of paradise. There’s also a kitchen, bycycles available, which you can use upon request, and mototcycles to rent. We had already appreciated their kindness during our stay, but the last day really impressed us. Just as we were about to leave and arrived at the bus station, my girlfriend realized she had lost her phone. We called the guesthouse, and within five minutes, the owner showed up at the station with the phone in hand, it had fallen into the tuk tuk. Thank you.

I stayed here for more than 3 months and I had a fantastic stay! Sash and Jeevi are super helpful and generous hosts who treated me like family and went beyond their duty to make my experience good. Spacious, comfortable rooms, nice outside area. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast. Very close to the beach, scooter rental on site, laundry service, and even clothing repair. Kitchen and fridge. If I could give an 11, I would! Thank you for everything

great location, helpful, kind and generous couple running the guest house well located near main road with many local shops and places to eat, and 1 min walk to the beach!

This was the place we enjoyed the most in our two months in Sri Lanka. Shas and his wife were amazing host. The place was very clean and tidy, there is a kitchen in case you would like to use it. The beach is one minute away walking and it was delightful to wake up and see the sunrise there. The garden is also very special, many spots to chill and birds to see. The breakfast was also great and the scooter for rent were very nice with a very reasonable price. We booked 3 nights and end up staying more than one week, we felt so comfortable there.

Nothing was wrong really

Very nice family house. 2 steps from the Sea. The owners are really gentle people. They will make you feel at home. Very clean rooms. Nice and cosy. You also can use the kitchen where they also have placed bottle of water for free. Really good attention for all. Thanks for them! That was great!

Everything was perfect in this Guest House. The rooms the kitchen and the owner. The guesthouse is located in a beatiful Garden. You have the possibility to eat outside If you want. The rooms are big , with comfortable matraces and good ventilation. The kitchen is equipped with a huge fridge and every type of kitchenware you can think of. But the best of everything is the owner with his wife. They are absolutely Kind and friendly people who will help you with everything. We will definetly come Back.

Lack of ventilation.

Very sweet place to stay! The hosts are truly great people, very kind and generous. We had an issue with the bathroom when we arrived and they fixed it right away. Located a few steps from the beach and few minutes drive from Trincomalee. If we come back to Sri Lanka, we will surely be back! Highly recommended!

A bit warm at night in the rooms, but the fan on the ceiling was very helpful

This place is run by a very friendly kind couple where nothing was too much trouble, it had a delicious breakfast for only 800 rupees, Very clean rooms with good towels in a great location near beach and a strip of restaurants, it has a great garden for chilling. Book now you won’t regret it!!!

We loved it so much did not want to leave

Very clean room, good fan, mosquito net in the windows, which makes it easy to sleep with a breeze, it is quite, good mattress and pillows, excellent big bathroom with hot shower, wifi works really well. Kitchen for use. Parking space in the garden. Very friendly couple. Definitely a very good place to stay at the beach, we can absolutely recommend it.
