While my room was very good, the bathroom was located outside the room along the hallway, which was slightly inconvenient. The road leading to the property could also be a bit uneven, so do take care when arriving. It would have been nice if each room was provided with complimentary water bottles and additional amenities such as body wash, shampoo, tea bags, milk, sugar, and a kettle. Clearer signage leading to the property would also make it easier to find upon arrival.

The location is excellent - very well-situated in Peradeniya with easy access to nearby attractions and everything you might need. The views from the property are absolutely stunning, particularly from the outdoor balcony/terrace, which also has a spacious seating area perfect for family meals. The room I stayed in (double room) was comfortable, and the entire space felt open and inviting. The hosts were exceptional - incredibly kind-hearted, welcoming, and extremely helpful, which really made the stay even more special.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rock Edge Residence in Peradeniya, Kandy, and it was truly a refreshing experience. This was a perfect place for our stopover with magnificent views of the hills from the veranda. Easy to get a tuk tuk to see the sights with plenty on your doorstep but away from the noise of town. Hosts were very helpful with everything we needed

So the house is located at a hill, and there is a bit of a climb and dirt road that leads up to it. The pathway should be improved with some rocks or pavement to allow vehicles to reach the location safely. The signs point to the stay should also be more prominent and adequate lighting should be there for the night time walk up and down. There are also a BUNCH of dogs running about and sometimes barking loudly which kind of scared us a bit at times, but its not the fault of the property owners ofcourse, just a general info for guests who are planning to stay here.

So this is a family owned house, the family lives on the ground floor and the top floor has rooms, a common living room, a kitchen with good amenities (fridge, kettle, cutlery, induction stove) as well as a common balcony with the most gorgeous view of the river and valley. The owners are super sweet, and lovely people who ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. It is definitely great value for money, and the location is such that hardly a 10 minute walk from grocery stores and the hustle and bustle of the main road, all while still being in a serene location with the peace and quiet of the mountains. 100% recommended for stay, the rooms are good, clean and the bathrooms are also nice so overall good value for money.

The balcony view is exceptionally beautiful. It's a shared area and it's situated just outside of the main shared area indoors which includes cooking facilities, a fridge and a dining table, as well as a sofa area. It's super clean, organised and simple. We loved it here, and loved the kind and friendly hosts who always had a big smile on their faces and let us play in their garden downstairs. Bathroom facilities are shared but was always available for us to use and was clean and had a lock. Room had both ceiling fan and portable floor fan with powerful settings. Short walk from amenities in town including restaurants, supermarket, ATM and buses. No problem at all, really happy with our stay

The location is a bit far. 1st it was difficult for us to find the destination secondly Tuk Tuk or car charges more since it's a steep way..

The owners are very kind and helpful people. The rooms are spacious and clean and the view/breeze is exceptional! They provide a hot plate for cooking and complimentary tea and coffee. Overall I would absolutely recommend this to people looking for a pleasant stay in kandy.

The ac is broken at the moment, and no sink in the kitchen so just for coffee not really built for cooking, other then that everything is amazing
